Literary Affairs Committee (LAC), SVNIT Surat presents India Quiz 2022 on the occasion of Republic Day 2022. This was the semi-final round for the final 8 teams, out of 400 teams, all across India.

• This round will have 4 questions.
• Points from the previous round will be carry forwarded here.
• Marking scheme is +10/-5 for each question.
• After the Quiz Master (QM) finishes reading the question, you have a 60 second window in
which you have to tag the moderator in your respective WhatsApp group and write the answer.
• Between the end of the previous question and the beginning of the next question, participants
are free to attempt the long connect.
• The points of answering the long connect keep on decreasing as the question number increases.

once one of the world's largest empires. Megasthenes' accounts do a
good job at describing this legendary realm. X was one of the first
civilizations to establish commercial relationships with the Greeks
and eventually the Romans. Recently discovered coins from the
Greek-Roman period have confirmed the presence of these ties. X
has lately revived in the context of Akhand Bharat, as parts of X's
lands were once included in Akhand Bharat. X was famous for a
certain mode of transportation, as seen by their flag. The flag had
some similarity with the emblem of a modern day Indian state which
is famous for housing the capital of a great Ancient Indian kingdom,
and sadly, due to high crime rate.
