2. I gave the flood zones a risk of 4 because it is important to see where areas are prone
to flooding when a storm hits. It is important to see where certain developed areas are prone
to flooding. The elevation I gave a rating of 4 because it is important to see how much
drainage occurs in an area in particular areas where it is known to flood, flood zones. Areas of
high elevation means that flooding capabilities are low and less prone to flooding compared to
areas where there is less run off of water and more of a collection of water because the
elevation is low. I gave the land use a weighing factor of 2 because after it floods and the
areas that are known to be flood zones and the the relatively areas of prolonged flooding,
elevation, it is important to know what areas are to be addressed. Flooding of a city can be
more of a priority compared to less developed land or areas that looked at as much. Lastly,
the soil was given a value of 1 because it is a good indicator how long it will take for drainage
of water to take place. In the developed regions it will take some time.
