Tourette's Syndrome is a neurological disorder characterized by verbal and motor tics that may be caused by problems in how the brain's nerves communicate. It is not contagious as it is either inherited or develops in the womb. The main symptom is tics involving noises, movements, or shouting, and stress can exacerbate tics, with other potential symptoms including ADHD, OCD, and sleep issues. Currently there is no prevention or cure for Tourette's as it is developed in the womb or inherited genetically.
