Gandhiji & Empowerment of Women 2 10-2012 colouredVIBHUTI PATEL
• Woman is more fitted than man to make exploration and take bolder action in nonviolence.
• There is no occasion for women to consider themselves subordinate or inferior to men.
• Woman is the companion of man, gifted with equal mental capacity.
• If by strength is meant moral power, then woman is immeasurably man's superior.
• If nonviolence is the law of our being, the future is with women.
• Woman, I hold, is the personification of self-sacrifice, but unfortunately today she does not realize what tremendous advantage she has over man.
These are some of the most famous quotes from Gandhiji’s writings and speeches. Gandhiji believed that India’s salvation depends on the sacrifice and enlightenment of her women. Any tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the Great Soul, would be an empty one, if we were to take no cue for our own guidance from his words and from his life; for him ideas and ideals had no value if they were not translated into action. He saw man and women as equals, complementing each other. And he saw himself not as a visionary, but as a practical idealist. If then, men and women work together selflessly and sincerely as equals with a faith like Gandhi’s, they may indeed realize Ram Rajya, the perfect state. Traditionally, woman has been called abala (without strength). In Sanskrit and many other Indian languages bala means strength. Abala means one without strength. If by strength we do not mean brutish strength, but strength of character, steadfastness, and endurance, she should be called sabala, strong. His message almost six decades ago at the All India Women’s Conference on December 23, 1936 was: “When woman, whom we call abala becomes sabala, all those who are helpless will become powerful.”

What is the teaching of the Buddha?
Is it a religion, or is it really something else—something we don’t even have a word for?
Why does Buddhism have so many rules?
Is there a scientific basis for integrity, ethics, morality, right and wrong?
What are the benefits of precepts like truthfulness, mindfulness and renunciation?
Aren’t they just outmoded beliefs?
Unity or oneness is the goal.
Mindfulness misdefined as open, receptive, pre-verbal awareness.
The Buddha does not speak with final authority because of cultural differences.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

4. Introduction…
Issues
What was the value of Kunti?
What were ethical behavior, strengths, will
power, and decision making in Kunti?
Is it helpful in modern era?
Am I found any woman who has same
characteristic and value in today?
If I found than what is similarity between
them?

5. The significance of the problem
I have gathered huge information regarding
ethics and value in history and nowadays.
I have search and read about historical literature
it help me to enlarge my height of thoughts.
It is also increase my analytical skill.
Increase the decision making power.
I have found the way for peace and harmony.
Research gives me inspiration for make

9. Findings…
Historical ethical behavior
Ethical behavior seems to be the norm we speculate that
there must be some reason for doing ethical behaviour.
Historical characters who were not behave ethically but
also died for ethics, rights, values, truth, to stop
valiance.
Although many of these theories may agree with our
intuitive sense of right and wrong, and may even make
a reasonable code to live by, they fail to explain why we
should be ethical, leaving us to wonder at the actual
reasons that people are good more often than they are
bad.
Falguni sagar
10. Findings…
Contemporary ethical behavior
Today’s high-intensity business environment makes it
more important than ever to have a strong ethics
program in place.
In these troubled times life with examples of corporate,
institutional, and personal misbehavior, it is sometimes
difficult to determine just what is an ethical response.
So that Values and ethics become more selfish and
moral standard also become down.
High per tension, competition and jealousy make
person more and more selfish.
Falguni sagar
11. Findings…
Combination of both
It is necessary to live one's personal and professional life
in a manner that represent high ethical standards.
In personal life, corporate and in social life should on
follow the classical ethics in life so balanced of them
sustain and they never become wavering in critical
situation.
Falguni sagar
12. My observation
people behave ethically because they are afraid of
punishment, and that if there were no penalties people
would simply do whatever they desired .the possibility of
being punished is extremely remote behaviour.
The origin of ethical behavior that doesn’t depend
directly on ethics itself and argue that ethical behavior
has come about as the result of societal evolution.
Should we abandon our ethics? No,Practical reasons for
us to be ethical. Perhaps we simply wish to get along
with other people, or to satisfy our natural feelings of
sympathy, or perhaps we want society to continue to
prosper so that our children, next generations can enjoy
it as well.
Falguni sagar
13. My observation…
Here I have observed so many similarities in classical
and contemporary character.
• Both are very responsible and strong women.
• They know very well that how to deal with personal and
social life.
• Both had faced blow in their personal life because Kunti
and Anu Aga had lost their husband
• Kunti had left her son Karna before her marriage
because Karna was born before her marriage and for she
had felt pain and sorrow whole life .
• same way Anu Aga has lost her son after her husband’s
death. Her son died at very early age of her life.
•
Falguni sagar
14. My observation…
Both were become very strong after death their
husband.
They knew very well that how to taking care of their
children and give them good virtues.
They gave such a conduct to their children so they
become success in their life.
They were dedicated their whole life for their family,
social welfare.
Kunti was devotee of Lord Krishna and Anu Aga is
devotee of work.
Falguni sagar
15. Conclusion
I am quite satisfied with my research work. It has given
me satisfaction because whatever issue I have posted in
introduction justified by research work.
Solutions of issue give me inspiration in my life. The
ethics, moral value and virtues of both historical and
