Web Components and Polymer at Nuxeo - Building our New Web UINuxeo
During this talk we’ll tell you our story of how we utilized Web Components and Polymer, to take a widely adopted and customizable open source enterprise content management platform and start migrating its server side JSF UI to the client. Throughout the process, we not only supported customers and partners but also provided them with simpler customization tools.
We’ll also provide an overview of the technical challenges and show how Web Components provided us concepts surprisingly similar to what is provided by JSF along with a highly interoperable component-based client side framework that leverages the DOM as the “framework” and HTML as its familiar declarative syntax.

Step-by-step into the world of Hybrid integration with Azuredelaware BeLux
Hybrid integration unites the disparate landscape of cloud-based solutions. Preventing the rise of isolated systems lowers TCO and leverages information sharing.
Mobile devices are now at the center of the technology ecosystem, and even enterprise developers who have historically written client-server applications are rapidly shifting to embrace this reality. Developers building customer-facing apps need to reach the breadth of devices that exist in the consumer market, and developers building internal-facing business applications are being asked to target the same breadth of personal devices that employees bring into the workplace.
This presentation covers about topic of how today's modern platform can help developer to create rich native apps that not runs across multiple platforms including Windows, iOS & Android, while maximizing code reuse and skillsets.
Introducing Acquia Content Hub: Take Control of Your Content ChaosAcquia
It’s no secret: organizations are struggling to keep up with demands to provide personal, engaging experiences across the explosion of new devices, channels, and markets. Because of this, content creators are tasked with furiously creating content for each team, device and endpoint.
On average, enterprises manage 268 customer facing websites and mobile apps*, making the ability to share content across company silos and systems more necessary than ever before. But there has been no easy way to share content between platforms—until now.
Acquia Content Hub breaks down content silos and solves this problem by helping content creators discover, reuse, and distribute content across a complex network of technologies and teams.
In our upcoming webinar, we’ll introduce you to Content Hub and explain how it reduces content chaos in today’s rapidly changing digital landscape, by enabling organizations to:
- Eliminate the costs and time associated with content duplication
- Discover content throughout your organization, regardless of creation point
- Mitigate the risk of outdated content
- Decrease time-to-market with new, content-rich sites

But what about from a business perspective? Even if a major redesign was not on your short-term horizon, we highly recommend educating yourself on what the release of Drupal 8 means to your organization from a digital investment standpoint. In our upcoming webinar, we partner with Mediacurrent to outline the key features Drupal 8 contains to help meet your business and brand objectives.
In this webinar, you will learn about:
- How Drupal 8 is helping Marketing Departments leverage their website as the most powerful branding and lead generation tool.
- The advancements Drupal 8 provides to improve costly security breaches and maintenance challenges.
- Drupal 8’s improvements to Accessibility and Internationalization, allowing corporations to reach all segments of their customer base with personalized content.
- What key decision-making criteria you should use as you decide when to migrate to Drupal 8.
What does it take to get an application into production? Many processes, tools and automation surround that application to deliver it to the customer. As it becomes more common for development teams to autonomously deliver and run their software, the focus of the traditional operational teams shifts towards an as-a-service mindset. But how is such a team positioned within the company? And is Platform Engineering any different from Software Engineering?
In this talk I’ll share my experiences as a platform engineer and explain why I believe that every company should be conscious about why and how to setup this responsibility. I’ll also discuss the biggest challenges surrounding it - and how to tackle them.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:

Easier management
These are the challengers of what we now need to simplify for our customers to say competitive:
Creation happens despite the workflow, not because of it
TOOLS and SERVICES are not living up to expectations
ASSETS are difficult to track
MOBILE DEVICES aren’t integrated tightly enough into creative activities
Continuous struggle to find effective ways to COLLABORATE
Creative processes do not fully embrace the benefits of the broader CREATIVE COMMUNITY
The Creative EcoSystem
The traditional media and online worlds are now coming together for our customers Adobe is broadening the scope of providing holistic client digital strategy within a whole solution.
We are doing this by adding marketing services which are available for businesses in addition to our traditional creative tools.
The whole solution enables businesses to:
* Make
* Manage
* Monetize
* Measure
Creative Cloud
Make and create content through the Creative Cloud tools and services
Marketing Cloud
We then give businesses the option if they have the Marketing cloud to Manage, Monetize, Measure this content.
So that we (Adobe) could provide an integrated ecosystem of content and data this meant re-inventing our creative tools and how we use them.
A marketing campaign entails a strategy which encompasses print, platforms, networks and devices the development of the two clouds allows business to not only create the content but to easily manage the content, monetize their content and measure their content.
A great example of this is a publishing house who implemented our digital publishing platform uses the analytics data that they get from their users to improve and target their print campaigns. Their assessment on what they thought people like were quite off the mark. The real data from the digital space could show them what they did. As a result the revenue for from the print increased as well.
