This document summarizes the first chapter of the book "Breaking the Curse of Poverty" by Dr. Wayne C. Gwilliam. The chapter argues that having a relationship with God based on obedience to His will is more important than an emotional relationship. It claims that teachings focusing on emotional relationship rather than obedience can lead believers into an immature faith and a "dead works" mentality that does not result in prosperity or healing. The chapter encourages believers to progress beyond an infant stage of faith to a mature stage of overcoming the devil through obedience to God's word.

Kleptomaniac: Who’s Really Robbing God Anyway media kit is for audiences to share with other readers who want information about the subject of tithing in the land of Israel.
The document discusses the importance of spending time daily reading and studying the Bible individually, focusing on specific words or passages that God reveals to you, and reflecting on how to apply them to your life. It also warns about the dangers of becoming too dependent on church programs rather than developing personal spiritual disciplines. Willow Creek Church realized they had over-emphasized programs and not taught people enough about self-feeding through regular Bible reading and prayer in their own lives.

The document discusses the author's experience as an ex-offender who struggles to find employment due to background checks, which he believes lobbying from background check companies and private prisons has influenced. The author expresses how meeting Jesus changed his life and led him to stop criminal acts, get an education, and volunteer, yet he still faces barriers to jobs. He questions the research behind blanket background check policies and hopes bringing more attention to the issue could expose any malicious greed and lead to policy reforms.

This document provides a summary and commentary on James 2:14-26 from the Bible Exposition Commentary series. It examines the relationship between faith and works, outlining three types of faith mentioned: dead faith involving just the intellect; demonic faith involving the intellect and emotions; and dynamic faith involving the whole person through the mind, emotions, and will, leading to obedience and good works. It uses the examples of Abraham and Rahab to illustrate dynamic faith justified by works, not just words. The overall message is that true saving faith is demonstrated through righteous obedience and actions, not just empty words or feelings.

CHRISTIAN SUPERNATURAL TEACHINGS, BIBLE CLASS LESSONS, GOSPELS BY LEADER OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU, THE SUPERNATURAL TEACHER AND SOLE SPIRITUAL HEAD, BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR
The document provides context on living out the Gospel message of God's kingdom. It discusses how the world is broken and in tension between God's kingdom being present but not yet fully realized. James' letter speaks to this tension by calling Christians to live according to the kingdom's values through both faith and good works, and avoid being shaped by other worldly forces that oppose the Gospel. The document examines how Christians can envision themselves as a new alternative community living out the kingdom amid resistance from the surrounding culture.
The document provides commentary on Luke 15:19-24, which tells the parable of the prodigal son. It makes three key points:
1) In the parable, the father welcomes his son back with open arms even after the son wasted his inheritance and hit rock bottom, showing God's deep love and willingness to forgive those who repent.
2) The father's actions of running to his son, embracing him, and celebrating his return would have shocked Jewish audiences, as fathers were not expected to welcome back openly rebellious sons.
3) The father treats the son with great honor by having him dressed in fine robes and sandals, showing the son has been fully accepted and
This document provides a daily devotional for the week of October 31-November 4, 2011. It discusses how Christians should let their light shine through their deeds, works, and relationships with others. Each day focuses on a different context: being a light at work on Tuesday, to strangers on Wednesday, at fellowships on Thursday, and at home on Friday. The overall message is that disciples of Jesus should live out their faith through actions and show love to both believers and non-believers in every aspect of their lives.
The document discusses why we need grace according to Christian theology. It begins by explaining that the purpose of the law was not to bring salvation but to reveal human sinfulness and inability to fulfill its requirements. God knew this and provided sacrifices to temporarily atone for sins, but ultimately sent Jesus as a permanent sacrifice through his death. Anyone who accepts Christ's sacrifice has their cleansing made permanent. It then discusses how mankind was created for God's purpose but became flawed, and God began redeeming creation through grace rather than the law, which cannot provide redemption.

Paul wrote a letter to Philemon, a fellow Christian, to request that he forgive his runaway slave Onesimus. Paul argues that Onesimus has become a believer and should be accepted back not as a slave but as a brother in Christ. He asks Philemon to receive Onesimus in a spirit of Christian love and forgiveness so that their relationship may be reconciled through Christ.
Jesus was misinterpreted by his disciplesGLENN PEASE
The document discusses a saying that was misinterpreted by Jesus' disciples regarding John, one of Jesus' disciples. Specifically, the disciples misunderstood Jesus' words about John remaining alive until Jesus' return, and a rumor spread that John would not die. However, Jesus did not say John would not die - he only said "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?" The document analyzes how this saying was misconstrued, discusses how oral tradition can become untrustworthy over time, and notes how committing the gospel to writing helps secure the truth. It also includes commentary from other sources on this biblical passage.
Kleptomaniac: Who's Really Robbing God Anyway Tithing StudyDr. Frank Chase Jr
This book started out as a 117-page power point study. The research for this book became a historical and biblical analysis of modern so-called monetary tithe verses the authentic and approved biblical agricultural and livestock tithe. Journey through the power point presentation and then read more exhaustive 400 page book analysis of tithing system and how it got commuted to cold hard cash. The truth is shocking and will inform you of the truth that was hidden in plain sight. Check out the Tithe No More blog at http://tithenomore.com
What is giving? What is tithing? The answer to that question depends on how you interpret the Bible. In this presentation Dr. Frank Chase Jr discusses the giving practices Hebrew/Jewish perspective. The slides also give reasons why pastors should work a full-time job because Apostle Paul was a tent maker who worked while spreading the Gospel. Many of the historical documents cautioned against gospel workers not to be dependent and to avoid becoming a public charge by making a living at something other than through preaching and teaching the Bible. A man who preaches and refuses to work will often resort to relying on charity by becomming a public charge which Paul frowned upon. In the presentation, you will see a part of my research for my book, Kleptomaniac: Who's Really Robbing God Anyway? 1) A Sunday school teacher asked her class who the most important woman in the Bible is. A boy said Eve because Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are named after her.
2) The document discusses how the first word babies usually learn is "no" and how parents tried to avoid using that word but ultimately had to for safety reasons.
3) It argues that while it's important to teach people what to say "no" to, the church focuses too much on that and not enough on what to say "yes" to, like helping others. It claims Jesus focused more on helping people than condemning sins.
I decided to write a commentary on this passage because of the challenge of trying to understand what Paul is saying when he asks the Corinthians to hand one of their sinful members over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh that he might in the day of the Lord be saved. The man has to be given to his greatest enemy who will do him great harm, but in the end this will be a means by which he will escape

Paul wrote to the Corinthians to encourage them to follow through on their previous commitment to provide an offering to help believers in Jerusalem who were experiencing poverty. A year ago, the Corinthians had eagerly agreed to collect funds, but had since failed to complete the task due to becoming distracted by internal issues in their church. Paul reminded them of the example set by the churches in Macedonia who had generously given despite their own humble means. He urged the Corinthians to finalize their gift as promised so it would be given freely rather than begrudgingly. Paul wanted to avoid any embarrassment if he arrived with other believers to find the Corinthians unprepared to provide the offering they had earlier agreed to give.

The Bible and Homosexuality, Part 2: The 7 Scriptures Blessing Sexual MinoritiesElton Sherwin
This document discusses a presentation on the Bible and homosexuality. It begins by noting studies that found religious upbringings are linked to better health outcomes, but that LGBTQ children attending churches believing homosexuality is sinful have higher suicide rates. The presentation aims to reexamine what the Bible says about homosexuality. It discusses scriptures about God's universal love and three Bible verses affirming sexual minorities, including the story of the Ethiopian eunuch baptized by Philip. Commentators say this story and Jesus framing a verse about eunuchs show the Gospel's inclusiveness of people regardless of sexual orientation.
The document summarizes some of the key proposed changes between the existing Companies Act of 1956 and the proposed new Companies Bill of 2012 in India. Some of the major changes include:

- Requiring all companies to have Key Managerial Personnel such as a Managing Director, Company Secretary, and CFO.
- Expanding the roles and responsibilities of the Company Secretary position.
- Simplifying processes for mergers, amalgamations, and compromises while also introducing new concepts like minority squeeze outs.
- Strengthening accounting practices and directors' reporting responsibilities.
- Mandating corporate social responsibility requirements for larger companies

Opiates are substances derived from the opium plant or similar synthetics that are used medicinally as painkillers but also have high potential for abuse. While opiates are useful for medical purposes like pain relief after surgery, recreational use and addiction can lead to dependence and negative health effects. Long-term opiate abuse increases risks of overdose, disease transmission from shared needles, and weakening of the immune system. Though opiates have a long history of medical usage, problems arose when their potency increased without understanding of dangers, leading to widespread abuse and addiction issues today.

TECHNIQUES TO KEEP MEN AND WOMEN YOUNG, SEXY AND HAPPY FOR PEACE AND PROSPERI...Dr. Raju M. Mathew
This document discusses techniques for keeping men and women young, sexy, and happy. It argues that true happiness comes from self-realization and integration, not from religion, leaders, or medicine. Realization involves understanding oneself, nature, humanity, and achieving integration across five levels - the body/mind/soul, with nature, other individuals, and humanity as a whole. When these integrations are achieved, one can absorb cosmic energy and attain bliss. Primitive tribal gods and religions based on fear cannot provide happiness. A civilized view of God is of a loving, forgiving being. The document encourages moving from primitive tribal practices to a universal, humanistic spirituality.
The document discusses work-life balance and its importance. It defines work-life balance as the perfect integration between work and life without interference. Poor work-life balance can lead to stress, physical and relational problems, decreased performance, and disturbed families. Achieving work-life balance requires planning work and providing flexibility, empathetic leadership, training programs, effective communication, and time/stress management. Both organizations and employees must work together to develop strategies to help attain work-life balance.
The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive function. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help protect against mental illness and improve symptoms.
Jethro Seghers provides IT business consultancy in Belgium, focusing on SharePoint, Office 365, and cloud services. The document discusses Office 365 security, including data encryption, identity protection, password policies, and certifications. It also provides overviews of Exchange Online, Lync Online, and SharePoint Online security features and policies.
The document discusses the importance of implementing a transformational ICT policy approach to enable a networked society. A transformational policy has the goals of sustaining economic growth, increasing competitiveness, growing new businesses and jobs, and addressing societal challenges through more efficient use of resources. It requires a holistic, cross-sector coordination approach to policy implementation using regulatory frameworks, innovation policies, government procurement, and fiscal/monetary tools in an interconnected manner. The risks of maintaining the status quo include market distortions, decreased investments and benefits, and delays in enabling societal transformation.
Napoleon invaded Russia in 1812 and won several early victories, but when he reached Moscow, the Russians had burned the city. As winter approached, Napoleon was unable to retreat back to Poland in time and lost over 500,000 men to the harsh conditions. A few years later after being exiled from France, Napoleon attempted to regain power in 1815 but was defeated at the Battle of Waterloo in Belgium, marking the final end of his rule.
The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive functioning. Exercise boosts blood flow and levels of neurotransmitters and endorphins that elevate and stabilize mood.
This document discusses the history and evolution of industrial hygiene and safety. It begins by outlining some of the earliest references to occupational health from 400 BC by Hippocrates and the first respiratory protective equipment in the 1st century AD. It then discusses the establishment of occupational health and safety laws in the US in 1970. The rest of the document covers the origins of industrial hygiene in Venezuela in the 1960s, the benefits of industrial hygiene like reducing costs and improving productivity, and some negative impacts of poor industrial hygiene such as accidents and their costs.

Pitch Sheet for Kleptomaniac: Who's Really Robbing God Anyway?Dr. Frank Chase Jr
Kleptomaniac: Who's Really Robbing God Anyway? is a 430-page book by Dr. Frank Chase Jr. that challenges the traditional doctrine of tithing 10% of one's income to the church. The book argues that tithing originated as giving a tenth of agricultural produce, not money, and that Jesus and the disciples did not teach tithing. It aims to help Christians understand biblical principles of freewill giving rather than obligatory tithing and expose what the author sees as lies surrounding the modern tithing doctrine. Dr. Chase has degrees in communications, biblical studies, theology, and is a former U.S. Army soldier who wrote the book after extensively researching tith

This document provides an introduction to a Bible study on Colossians 3 from Above and Beyond Discipleship Ministries. It explains that the Colossians had wrong ideas about how to live as Christians by worshipping angels and practicing asceticism. Paul corrects them by saying the Christian life is about living as those who have died and been resurrected with Christ, not about getting God's attention through strange practices. The study questions guide readers to analyze what Colossians 3 says about putting off sinful behaviors and putting on Christ-like qualities. It lays out some foundational principles, including that the Bible is God's inspired word and that Christians should obey it even if teachings make them uncomfortable. It discusses how the roles of men and women in the family and church are different, with men designated as leaders, though men and women are equal in God's eyes. The document provides an overview of the topics that will be covered in the booklet.

The document provides information about a Bible study on Colossians 3 being conducted by Above and Beyond A Living Truth Ministry. It discusses that the Colossians had wrong ideas about how to live as Christians, such as worshipping angels and practicing asceticism. The true Christian life is about living out one's death and resurrection with Christ, not earning God's favor, and being an ambassador that does what Christ would do. The study questions analyze what are the "things above" and "things below" mentioned in Colossians 3 and how to match them, and how the Colossians missed Paul's message. It also provides information about donating or volunteering for the ministry.

The document discusses why many Christians do not regularly read the Bible despite having Bibles at home. It cites a study finding that while 85% of Americans have at least two Bibles and respect the Bible as sacred, less than 23% regularly read it. The top four reasons people gave for not reading more are lack of time, difficult language, lack of excitement, and not understanding context. The document urges Christians to make more effort to help others fall in love with and understand the importance and purpose of regularly reading the Bible.
This document discusses the cultural realities facing ministry today and the role of the pastor as a change agent. It notes that society has become post-national, post-rational, and post-Christian, shaped more by consumerism than the gospel. However, postmodern society seeks authenticity and community over superficial programs. The document argues that good ministry must be relational, focusing on pastoral health, community, discipleship, and service rather than administrative tasks. It emphasizes the need for pastors to admit their own failings and struggles in order to foster genuine dialogue and transformation.
My heart is, and has been, burdened about the state of the Church for more than 30 years. We have taken on so many traditions of men. These are traditions that annul Scripture just as Jesus scolded the Pharisees for. I have been feeling compelled by God to write and expose what I believe to be the main or root cause that allows us to build these unbiblical traditions.
Sadly, when I have discussed these things with pastors and Christians in general, while they agree that we now more often than not, preach a sugar-coated gospel, they just cannot see the depth of the problem. It challenges their basic assumptions far too much. I needed to write a fact-based work, with much data that can prove what I am trying to convey and what God is saying to the Western Church today....
2 corinthians 8.1 9. excellence in generosityAllanMoseley
The document summarizes a pastor's sermon on generosity based on 2 Corinthians 8:1-9. The key points are:
1) The origin of generosity is God, not man, as God graciously works in believers' lives and changes their selfish nature.
2) The motive for generosity should be spiritual, not financial, as seen in the poor Macedonian churches who gave generously despite their poverty and hardship.
3) Believers should strive to excel in generosity, as God is the perfect giver who gave everything for believers through Jesus Christ.
This document provides an overview of a series of sermons by John MacArthur on the charismatic movement. The series is titled "Charismatic Chaos" and examines whether experiences are a valid source of truth, if God still gives revelation and prophecies today, proper biblical interpretation, miracles today, the Third Wave movement and its excesses, how spiritual gifts operate, what was happening in the Early Church, healing, speaking in tongues, true spirituality, promises of health and wealth, and new revelation. MacArthur seeks to critically examine the charismatic movement according to scripture, though with love, in the face of intimidation from those who say such examination is unloving or divisive.
The document provides a summary of how the Bible was compiled over hundreds of years by many authors on three continents. It explains that while humans wrote the individual books, the Bible is considered divinely inspired. The books that comprised the Bible were determined based on their authority and accuracy in representing God's revelation and truth. Various religious authorities gradually recognized the authoritative books until the canon of the Bible was established. The document then discusses how the original manuscripts were accurately preserved through copies to give readers confidence in the text we have today.
Dr. Peter Hammond discusses how many churchgoers hold unbiblical beliefs and worldviews despite regular church attendance. He notes that church services are not the only mission field, as worldly influences have subverted many within the church. Due to neglecting biblical teaching and consuming secular media, some churchgoers believe in concepts like reincarnation and universalism. Dr. Hammond calls Christians to transform their thinking through renewing their minds with Scripture instead of being influenced by the world.

Monetary tithing has been taught as an undisputed fact in churches for centuries. Kleptomaniac: Who's Really Robbing God Anyway challenges that assumption and puts modern tithe teachings to the microscope of scripture. This book examines the word tithe from the original Hebrew language and presents the authentic meaning of the the orthodox term based on the land, language and literature of the Hebrew people.
For church-goers who are tired of being told they rob God of tithes and offerings every Saturday and Sunday, and that God requires a tenth of their income until death, this new book opens the biblical scroll and shines a light on the truth of scripture by debunking centuries-old tithe doctrines, which say a tithe is ten percent of a person's income. The author also explains why many church-goers are not the ones who really rob God. But exposes who the real God robbers are in this shocking tithe manifesto.

Over the years, I've read and studied a lot about tithing and this one thing I know for sure, God never said he wanted money as a tithe. In fact, the Hebrew word for tithe the Ma'aser. It means tenth part. The tenth part that Ma'aser refers to everything eatable. The Bible does mention money but money was never paid to the priests or Levites as a tithe. Not one single occupation in the Bible that a person had ever cough up ten percent to temple. So if the Bible is clear on tithing and who paid the actual agricultural, herd and flock tithe, then why do people persist to perpetuate and non-biblical monetary tithe system that the foreign to the scriptures. This book is an expose' on what biblical tithing really is. The author writes in detail about who and why the Bibles was changed to support a monetary tithe outside of the confines of the scriptures.
Many people think christians are suppose to bring their tithe--a tenth of their pay--to the church and give the money to the Lord. It has been said that the church is the storehouse. However, if you notice, most traditional churches have a similar design style. What should be shocking is that this image is not a church. It is a barn, where the tithe of crops and cattle were brought the storehouse. In the Bible, storehouse was a type of a barn for storage of crops and cattle. The church is not a storehouse for tithes of money. The real tithe is brought to a barn.

En esta edición del informe CPPI 2023, se han empleado los mismos enfoques metodológicos y se ha aplicado un método de agregación de clasificaciones para combinar los resultados de ambos enfoques y obtener una clasificación agregada.

The author practiced tithing of ten percent of his gross and net income for more than 30 years.
Shockingly, after researching the subject more deeply, a theological earthquake shook the foundation
of his belief in tithing ten percent. The author, Frank Chase Jr., went on a research journey for three
years and discovered the biblical truth about tithing and seeks to share this newfound information with
the entire church world. For many people who have had doubts about tithing a tenth of their income,
no longer will they have to ponder questions about the practice of tithing because the book,
Kleptomaniac: Who's Really Robbing God Anyway scripturally dismantles many of the modern pro-
tithe arguments that state monetary tithing is mandatory. So, what is the tithe? The answer is simple.
The tithe is grain, crops, cattle, herds and flocks. And the question is, who changed the Bible to
include money as a tithe? It was the Holy Roman Catholic Church. You can read some of the author’s
thoughts about the book in a Book Bubble on bublish at

Statistics show that over the annuals of church history, churchgoers tithe percentages have always
remained below five percent. This indicates that many tithe teachings have not convinced people that

the practice actually works as propagated. For those
who refuse to tithe in some religious circles, they are
excommunicated or shunned. History is replete with
examples of religious institutions threatening members
with hell fire for not paying ten percent of their income.
Some have been kicked out of churches for simply
questioning the practice. However, the truth is coming
forth with enlightenment. And before you attend your
next church service, make sure you know all the biblical
facts on tithing because it is in your best financial
interest. An Amazon customer wrote, "When it comes
to tithing there are so many beliefs (some biblical while
others are not). This book is an amazing tool for finding
out what the Bible says about it. After reading this
book, readers will understand more about the new
covenant way of giving based on bible scriptures
(leaving opinions out)." This book also questions how
tithing practices of today affect people financially and
how those practices are unlike tithing practices of
yesterday. Not only does this book challenge the
accepted definitions of the tithe, it also questions the
sustainability of current practices, especially when
economic times get rough for people who may not be
able to give much. Get informed and get your signed

Since money is vital in every part of society and the church,
this book spends a considerable amount of time detailing how money was used in the Bible to help
readers know the difference between tithes and money. The tithing phenomenon has been around for
centuries and this book is an expose' into how the current doctrine came into existence and who the
culprits were who played a major role in what churches teach today. KLEPTOMANIAC is a back to the
