The ECEC is a high quality early
childhood program accredited
by the Na onal Associa on for
the Educa on of Young Chil-
dren (NAEYC). It is na onally
recognized for its adapta on
of the philosophy of the
schools in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
This approach is child centered
and incorporates long-term
inquiry based projects building
children’s thinking and crea ve
problem solving skills. It also
encourages collabora on
among children, teachers, fam-
ilies, and the community.
