There are four kinds of sentences: declarative sentences that make statements, interrogative sentences that ask questions, imperative sentences that give requests or commands, and exclamatory sentences that express strong feelings. Declarative sentences end with a period, interrogative sentences end with a question mark, and imperative sentences give requests or commands. The document provides examples of each kind of sentence and notes that the next lesson will cover parts of speech.
