The book makes clear that when the early Muslims overpowered major empires and took over vast areas, their motives were not to subjugate people or to enrich themselves.
This book addresses an important subject, The only way to achieve true happiness is Islam and call for the faith in Allah and His angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and destiny.
The universe arose and its creation from the things that occupied man throughout the ages, especially non-Muslims. Because Islam has clarified and explained all the matters that need clarification.
What happens in the barzakh? (Hereafter, Islamic belief, afterlife)Amina Inloes
According to Islamic belief, the afterlife commences with the barzakh. After death, souls move on to the barzakh, where they experience many things, until the blow of the trumpet and the subsequent arrival of the Day of Judgment. This PowerPoint presentation examines what happens in that time in the barzakh according to Qur'an and hadith (especially from the Shi'i school of thought). Large file size is due to embedded video clips.
He it is Who has raised among the unlettered people a Messenger from among themselves who recites unto them His Signs, and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and Wisdom though before that they were in manifest error; And He will raise him among others of them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise." Surah Al-Jumuah 62:3-4
The advent of The Holy Prophet sa is described metaphorically as the appearance of God Almighty. The Holy Prophet sa became the mirror reflecting Divine Attributes. He was Al- Abd. The Holy Quran calls him Abdullah (72:20) -- The Servant of Allah. For the latter days God in His Mercy sent us the servant of The Servant --- Ghulam Ahmadas. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani as (Ahmad as) claimed to be The Promised Messiah and Mahdi. Ahmad as claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus as of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad sa.
This book is a humble attempt to help settle some of the common doubts and misconceptions people have about the great religion of Islam. A religion that has captured the hearts of hundreds of millions of people around the world and answered their questions about the unseen. Listen to the Book on SoundCloud.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): A mercy to all creation!F El Mohdar
The more science and technology advances, the greater is the need for the observance and practice of the teachings and instructions of divine prophets in human societies. This is because science and technology provide only machines and instruments and by no means prevent their misuse by human beings.
The terrible rise in murder, other felonies, corruption, suicide and so forth clearly points to this very fact. If morality, which is a significant part of the teachings of divine prophets, does not prevail and govern in human societies, surely not only will advanced science and technology fail to ensure human peace and prosperity, but they will add to our problems and miseries. For the exploiters and colonialists utilize advanced technology and sciences for their own satanic purposes. They murder or make homeless millions of human beings as they have always done and trample upon the rights of the weak and the defenseless.
As a matter of fact, the only factor that can halter man's restive soul and control his stormy instincts and passions and thus utilize science and technology for human prosperity and pacific life is true morality, which originates in faith in God.
The moral teachings and precepts of the divine prophets and their moral behavior are the best means of leading man to his ideal life. It goes without saying that both in personal and in social life the observance of moral principles is required of all. However, for those who must lead societies and guide the people, this requirement is much greater, because, first, the one who is the instructor of society must himself be a model of supreme moral behavior and excellent human characteristics, so he will be able to wipe moral decay out of people's hearts and minds. Obviously if he himself is lacking in morality, he will fail to lead the people onto the path of humanity and virtue.
Second, the responsibility of leading human societies is so great and crucial that no one can successfully perform it unless he has perfect morals. For this reason, God selected his prophets from among those who possessed exalted spirits, great tolerance, extraordinary patience, and other excellent moral characteristics. It was with this weapon of morality that divine prophets overturned the debased societies that were plunged in corruption and led the ignorant people who had gone astray onto the path of virtue and salvation.
In the Glorious Qur'an, Almighty God has addressed the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): "Thus it is due to mercy from God that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard-hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you." (3:159)
The sublime celestial morals of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) brought about the waves of the revolution of Islam first in Arabian society and afterwards all over the world. In the light of this all-embracing spiritual and intellectual resurrection, dispersion turned into unity, unchastity into chastity and virtue, idleness into hard work and industry, selfishness to altruism, and Arab arrogance to modesty and affection. Men and women were thus trained to become models of good moral behavior and have altruistic manners forever. The morals of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) were so sublime and praiseworthy that Almighty God has regarded them as great. "And truly you (Muhammad) possess great morals." (68:4)

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

or gun at an innocent person.

• Can a religion be from God if it teaches
that you can enter paradise by killing His
blameless and innocent creatures…?
• Foolish people hear the word Jihad and

19. A wakeup call for the Amir of
Kabul:
• The so-called Jihad of attacking people is a sin
and against God and Prophet (pbuh)
• Amir of Kabul should get together to discuss
Jihad and then spread info through religious
scholars using pamphlets
• Persons who declare Fatwas of Kufr should not
be taken lightly
20. Wakeup call for the Amir of
Kabul
• It is possible that some people who are
ignorant of the facts will, [in the
future, even] blame the Amir…
• God has given the Amir a chance to
set things right. it is mostly Afghans
who commit these acts and wield the
sword with the intent of becoming
ghazis
• People should be educated and freed
from ignorance.
21. Proposal to the British
Government
Govt is competent, but, our duty is to point out what’s useful to govt and
public.
• Causes of killings:
●
Mullah’s teach that by killing persons of other
faith (ie.christians), one can enter heaven.
Animalistic people act accordingly. Not just
Afghans but local mosques in Punjab, India.
●
Christian propoganda (1849: Reverend
Pfander published Mizanul-Haq) preaching to
the ignorant that Islam rewards killing people
of other faiths.
22. Punishment for Apostasy: Holy Quran
• Muslim Ulema help enemies of Islam by
misrepresenting Islam. Threat from within!
• Belief that an apostate should be killed is
erroneous
Who is a Muslim?
Who is an apostate?
What is the quran’s stance on
Apostasy
23. Definition of a Muslim
Holy Prophet (SAW) said:
"Whoever observes Prayer in the same way as
we do, and declares our qibla to be his qibla [i.e.,
faces the same direction in Prayer as we do]; one
who eats from our dhabiha [i.e., the meat of our
slaughtered animals] such a one is a Muslim. To
protect such a person is a matter of obligation for
God and His Messenger. So, [O ye Muslims!]
make sure that you do not violate the obligation
from God." (Sahib Bukhari, Kitab- ul-Salat).
24. Definition of an Apostate
The Holy Quran says:
Surely, those who have turned away after
guidance has been made manifest to them have
been deceived by Satan who has beguiled them
with false hopes
(47:26).
One who Renounces Islam after having embraced and fully understood it
is beguiled by Satan’s false hopes, and should not expect any good from God
27. 2: When the hypocrites come to thee, they say, ‘We bear
witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of Allah.’
And Allah knows that thou art indeed His Messenger,
but Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely
liars.
3: They have made their oaths a shield; thus they turn
men way from the way of Allah. Evil surely is that
which they have been doing.
4: That is because they first believed, then disbelieved.
So a seal was set upon their hearts and consequently
they understand not.
28. 5: And when thou seest them, their figures please
thee; and if they speak, thou listenest to their speech.
They are as though they were blocks of wood
propped up. They think that every cry is against
them. They are the enemy, so beware of them.
Allah’s curse be upon them! How are they being
turned away!
*6: And when it is said to them, ‘Come, that the
Messenger of Allah may ask forgiveness for you,’
they turn their heads aside, and thou seest them
keeping back while they are full of pride. “
29. Further Clarification
• Could the Holy Prophet and his
companions identify the
(Munafiqeen) amongst them?
YES
• What did the Munafiqeen do to the
other believers? they turned men away
from the way of Allah.
• What did the Holy Prophet and his
companions ask of the Munafiqeen?
They invited the Munafiqeen to repent and
have the Holy prophet as for their forgiveness
30. Second Evidence (3:73)
Revealation Reference: This
was revealed when the
Islamic State was firmly
established and the People of
the Book were fully
subjugated.
If they knew the punishment “73: And a section of the
of Apostasy was death, they
would never do such a thing
People of the Book say,

disbelieve in the evening) revealed unto the believers, in
the early part of day, and
Conclusion: They had no
disbelieve in the latter part
such worries of being killed
thereof; perchance they may
return. “
31. third Evidence (3: 87-90)
“87: How shall Allah guide a people
who have disbelieved after believing
and who had borne witness that the
Messenger was true and to whom
clear proofs had come? And Allah
guides not the wrongdoing people
88: Of such the reward is that on them
shall be the curse of Allah and of
angels and of men, all together.
89: They shall abide there under. Their
punishment shall not be lightened nor
shall they be reprieved;
90: Except those who repent thereafter
and amend. And surely, Allah is Most
Forgiving, Merciful. “
Where is it mentioned that all of them
shall be murdered?????? NOWHERE!!
32. Fourth Evidence (3: 91-92)
“91: Surely those who disbelieve after
they have believed and then increase
in disbelief, their repentance shall not
be accepted, and these are they who
have gone astray.
92: As for those who have
disbelieved, and die while they are
disbelievers, there shall not be
accepted from any one of them even
an earthful of gold, though he offer it
in ransom. It is these for whom shall
be a grievous punishment, and they
shall have no helpers. “
• In VS. 92 It is not said … As for those who have disbelieved, and WERE KILLED
• The use of “die” in VS. 92 indicates natural causes.
33. Fifth Evidence (3:150)
“150: O ye who believe! if you obey
those who have disbelieved, they will
cause you to turn back on your heels,
and you will become losers.”
Here, it is not stated that if you returned to disbelief,
you shall be killed.
34. Sixth Evidence (4:138-139)
“138: Those who believe,
then disbelieve, then again
believe, then disbelieve, and
then increase in disbelief,
Allah will never
forgive them nor will He
guide them to the way.
139: Give to the hypocrites
the tidings that for them is a
grievous punishment ”
Criteria of being Hypocrite
• Believed 2. Disbelieved 3. Believe again 4. Increase in disbelief
Reward = Not be forgiven and expect a grievous punishment from God
35. Seventh Evidence (2:218)
“218: They ask thee about fighting in
the Sacred Month. Say: ‘Fighting
therein is a great transgression, but to
hinder men from the way of Allah,
and to be ungrateful to Him and to
hinder men from the Sacred Mosque,
and to turn out its people there from,
is a greater sin with Allah; and
persecution is worse than killing.’
And they will not cease fighting you
until they turn you back from your
faith, if they can. And whoso from
among you turns back from his faith
and dies while he is a disbeliever, it
is they whose works shall be vain in
this world and the next. These are the
inmates of the Fire and therein shall
they abide.”
37. What about Hadith?
Validity test: Hadith vs. Holy Quran
Promise about the Quran:
Surely, We our self have sent down this Exhortation, and We will,
most certainly, safeguard it ( 15: 10).
if a hadith is irreconcilable with the Holy
Quran, it must be rejected altogether .
38. First Hadith
Bokhari relates, on the authority of Jabir bin
Abdullah, that a desert Arab took the pledge of Islam
at the hand of the Holy Prophet, peace be on him,
and a little later he suffered from fever while he was
still in Medina. He came to the Holy Prophet, peace
be on him, and said: Messenger of Allah, do release
me from my pledge. But the Holy Prophet paid no
attention to him. He came a second time and made
the same request, and the Holy Prophet refused to
comply with his request. He then departed from
Medina., whereupon the Holy Prophet observed:
Medina is like a furnace which destroys the dross
and purifies the rest (Fathul Bari, Vol. XXIII, p.173).
39. Analysis
• If apostasy were punishable by death:
– The man could never dared to ask such question
– The Holy prophet and his companions would have
informed him of the consequences
– The holy Prophet and companions would have
punished him by death for his apostasy
• How did the holy prophet respond?
– He welcomed the departure of the man as good
riddance and beneficial for the other believers.
• Result: Apostasy is not punishable by death!
40. Second Hadith
Abdullah bin Abi Sarah was one of the scribes
of the Holy Prophet, peace be on him, in
Medina.
41. became an apostate and joined Meccans and was
condemned to death by the Holy Prophet for
misdeeds
42. Hazrat Usman bin Affan, Abdullah’s foster
brother gave him shelter in his house where he
remained hidden for some days.
43. Hazrat Usman bin Affan interceded
with the Holy Prophet on Abdullah’s
behalf.
Huzoor remained silent, then forgave Abdullah
44. Analysis
• Abdullah bin Abi Sara was to be punished
because of his political offences, not
apostasy.
• There is no punishment for apostasy from
men
• If apostasy were punishable by death:
●
Hazrat Usman would never have given Abdullah
shelter
●
The Holy prophet would never have accepted
Hazrat Usman's intercession on his behalf.
• The Holy Prophet never accepted any intercession in
respect of the prescribed punishment for an offence.
45. Supporting hadith
Bokhari has related on the authority of Aisha: The
Quraish were much disturbed on account of a
Makhzoomi woman who had committed theft. They
consulted together and wondered who could
approach the Holy Prophet, peace be on him, on her
behalf, except Usamah bin Zaid, whom the Holy
Prophet held dear. They persuaded Usamah to
approach the Holy Prophet, and intercede on behalf
of the woman. When he did so, the Holy Prophet
rebuked him: Do you intercede in respect of a
penalty prescribed by Allah?
46. Supporting hadith cont.
Then he stood up and, addressing his companions,
said: Many people before you went astray because
they overlooked the offence of a person belonging to
a good family and imposed the prescribed penalty
upon a common thief. I call God to witness that if
Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad, were to be guilty
of theft, I would certainly cut off her hand (Bokhari,
Indian edition, p.lOO3).
47. Third hadith
Bokhari has related, on the authority of Braa bin
Aazib, that in the treaty of Hudaibiyyah, the Holy
Prophet, peace be on him, agreed with the pagans of
Mecca that if anyone of them became a Muslim and
came to Medina, he would be returned to the
Meccans, but that if a Muslim departed from Medina
and joined the Meccans, they would not be under
obligation to return him to the Holy Prophet
(Bokhari, Egyptians edition, Vol. II, p. 76).
Allowing a Muslim to denounce Islam and
join forces with the Meccans shows that there
was no punishment in place for Apostasy
48. • Danish Newspaper tried to portray images
of Prophet Muhammad associated with
terrorism.
• A Burst of outrage, terrorism, and cruelty
were Muslims.
• Double Standards of super-powers
49. • Danish Newspaper published cartoons
– Non-Ahmadi Muslim Response: destruction
and threats of murder and violence.
• Result: Tainted picture of Islam/Damage to Islam
• Ahmadis recognize the need/advent of a
reformer and portray the correct message
– Believe in one God who taught men to live in
love an affection. Believe in all messangers
• HOW CAN ISLAM teach HATRED?

51. And say, ‘It is the truth from your Lord;
wherefore let him who will, believe, and let him

(Ch. 18:V.30)
52. • The prophet’s job is to spread the
message with kindness, love affection and
tolerance.
• Share that which you believe to be from
God.
53. • Objection to the verse: it was revealed
when Muslims were minority. such words
were used so that the disbelievers of
Makkah do not cruelly destroy all the
Muslims
• Answer:
– This is not so. Quran is still as good today as
was before. The verse still applies
– Even so, this had no effect on Meccans as
they continued to brutally kill and persecute
Muslims.
55. In Medina…
• Pact with Jews: freely live together
respecting each others’ rights
• At first, Jews were dominant (in number),
soon, Muslims became dominant with
Hadhrat Muhammad (pbuh) as Governor.
• Allah Ta’ala revealed:
– There should be no compulsion in religion…
(Ch.2:V.257)
• No use of force in matters of religion

57. Standard of Tolerance
The Holy Qur’an states:
…and let not a people’s enmity incite you to act
otherwise than with justice. Be always just, that is
nearer to righteousness. (Ch.5:V.9)
If you can forgive, then forgive, that is better. If you must
seek revenge, then the recompense of an injury is no more
than the injury inflicted on you.
58. Forgiveness and Ikramah
• On conquering Mecca, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
forgave everyone.
• Ikramah, greatest enemy of Islam, being defeated at
hands of Muslims, fled.
• Ikramah’s wife pleaded for forgiveness.
• Huzoor Forgave;
• Ikramah arrogantly said, don’t think I’ll be a Muslim
after you forgive me
• Prophet (pbuh) still forgave him and many others.
59. Freedom of Speech
(Masnad Ahmad bin Hanbal Vol.6 p.268 published Beirut)
• Prophet bought a camel in exchange of 90 kilos
of dried dates from a bedouin
• Upon his return home, he realized he did not
have that many.
• He Returned to the Bedouin and told the truth.
• The Bedouin addressing the prophet said
“O defrauder”
• People began to tell the bedouin off but;
• The Prophet said “Let him be”
60. Freedom of Faith
• Delegation of Christians from Najran
• During the meeting in Masjid Nabawi,
Christians excused themselves to pray.
• The Prophet (pbuh) invited them to pray in
the mosque.
• The pact drawn with Christians gave them
• Freedom of faith, protection of churches and
rights.
• Funding the Repair of church by a Muslim
would be an act of benevolence.
