Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): A mercy to all creation!F El Mohdar
The more science and technology advances, the greater is the need for the observance and practice of the teachings and instructions of divine prophets in human societies. This is because science and technology provide only machines and instruments and by no means prevent their misuse by human beings.
The terrible rise in murder, other felonies, corruption, suicide and so forth clearly points to this very fact. If morality, which is a significant part of the teachings of divine prophets, does not prevail and govern in human societies, surely not only will advanced science and technology fail to ensure human peace and prosperity, but they will add to our problems and miseries. For the exploiters and colonialists utilize advanced technology and sciences for their own satanic purposes. They murder or make homeless millions of human beings as they have always done and trample upon the rights of the weak and the defenseless.
As a matter of fact, the only factor that can halter man's restive soul and control his stormy instincts and passions and thus utilize science and technology for human prosperity and pacific life is true morality, which originates in faith in God.
The moral teachings and precepts of the divine prophets and their moral behavior are the best means of leading man to his ideal life. It goes without saying that both in personal and in social life the observance of moral principles is required of all. However, for those who must lead societies and guide the people, this requirement is much greater, because, first, the one who is the instructor of society must himself be a model of supreme moral behavior and excellent human characteristics, so he will be able to wipe moral decay out of people's hearts and minds. Obviously if he himself is lacking in morality, he will fail to lead the people onto the path of humanity and virtue.
Second, the responsibility of leading human societies is so great and crucial that no one can successfully perform it unless he has perfect morals. For this reason, God selected his prophets from among those who possessed exalted spirits, great tolerance, extraordinary patience, and other excellent moral characteristics. It was with this weapon of morality that divine prophets overturned the debased societies that were plunged in corruption and led the ignorant people who had gone astray onto the path of virtue and salvation.
In the Glorious Qur'an, Almighty God has addressed the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): "Thus it is due to mercy from God that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard-hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you." (3:159)
The sublime celestial morals of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) brought about the waves of the revolution of Islam first in Arabian society and afterwards all over the world. In the light of this all-embracing spiritual and intellectual resurrection, dispersion turned into unity, unchastity into chastity and virtue, idleness into hard work and industry, selfishness to altruism, and Arab arrogance to modesty and affection. Men and women were thus trained to become models of good moral behavior and have altruistic manners forever. The morals of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) were so sublime and praiseworthy that Almighty God has regarded them as great. "And truly you (Muhammad) possess great morals." (68:4)
The book is dedicated to non-Muslims who desire to know Islam in brief and look forward to know its most important teachings. We hope the book will also be useful for Muslims as well as the newly converted. The book has been translated to many languages, and its core shall be a basis to a new huge site that is being prepared now.
The book then discusses the life story of Prophet Jesus, the Son of Mary, Peace be upon both of them. It starts with the time before he was born, till He was ascended to Heaven by Almighty Allah.

In the Arabic original, the author gives his book the title Sabighat, borrowing the Quranic description of the coats of mail Prophet David used to make for his soldiers. In its linguistic sense, the word means ‘of good length, full covering, etc.’ The implied sense is that those coats gave proper protection. Hence, the reference in this forwards to the coats of mail as giving protection against misconception.
In order to become a Muslim, there are no specific religious rituals or customs that you need to perform, neither in specific areas nor in front of people.
This book addresses an important subject, The only way to achieve true happiness is Islam and call for the faith in Allah and His angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and destiny.
The book makes clear that when the early Muslims overpowered major empires and took over vast areas, their motives were not to subjugate people or to enrich themselves.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

People, a great blessed month has come upon you
Allah has made fasting during it an obligation, and steadfastly
observing its nights in worship a voluntary act
Whoever undertakes an act of obedience to Allah during this month
with a righteous deed, it is as if he has performed an obligatory act at

And whoever performs an obligatory act during it is as one who

It is the month of patience, and the reward for patience is Paradise
It is the month of goodwill, during which provisions are multiplied

There are two pleasures for the fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast,

Reward of Fasting
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be
upon him) proclaimed the reward of fasting:
[Sahih Muslim, Book 6, Hadith Number 2567]
“ Allah said, 'All the deeds of Adam's sons (people) are for
them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the
reward for it.' Fasting is a shield or protection from the
fire and from committing sins.
If one of you is fasting, he should avoid sexual relation
with his wife and quarrelling, and if somebody should
fight or quarrel with him, he should say, 'I am fasting.'

Why Fasting?

it was prescribed to those before you, so that you may develop Taqwa

About
Taqwa
Taqwa is an Arabic word. Taqwa is the consciousness of
Almighty. It is the state of heart that motivates virtuous conduct
and prevents evil action. Taqwa is the ability ‘to guard against,
preserve, shield and prevent’.

Example: God says about Mary in the Qur’an that
she said: “Verily!, I have vowed a fast to the Most
Beneficent…” [Qur’an Chapter Maryam – 19:26].

The Need for Taqwa*
Holy Qur'an states: “O you who believe! Be steadfast witnesses
for Allah in equity, and do not let the hatred of any people make
you to depart from justice. Act justly, that is nearer to Taqwa. And
fear Allah. Surely Allah is well aware of what you do.” [Qur’an 5:8]
Spiritual shield against evil
Holy Qur'an states: “On the day (The day of judgement) when every soul will be confronted with all the
good it has done, and all the evil it has done” [Qur’an 3:30]
To prepare for accountability before the Creator
Holy Qur'an states: “…for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.” [
Qur’an 13:28]
To experience happiness and satisfaction
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “Piety and Righteousness is being of good character.” [Sahih Muslim]
To build good character
He (Lord of the worlds) is worthy to be feared [Qur’an 74:56)

Caliph Ali’s description of the people of Taqwa
“The world tempts them, but they do not succumb. It imprisons them,
but they ransomed themselves in exchange.”
“They combine knowledge with tolerance and speech with action.”
“They do not call anyone names nor do they hurt their
neighbors. They do not curse at the time of
difficulties nor do they venture into falsehood.”
“The people of Taqwa on earth are those of virtue: their speech is correct
(true); their garments are of moderate nature and their walk is one of
humility. They lower their gaze when they see something that Allah has
forbidden them to see, and they give ear to beneficial knowledge.”
“They are not prejudiced against those they dislike nor
do they favor those they love.”
“They maintain their integrity in both adversity and prosperity”

Fasting and Sins Don’t Go Together
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings
of Allah be upon him) said:
“Whoever does not give up forged
speech and evil actions, Allah is not
in need of his leaving his food and
drink” (i.e. Allah will not accept his
fasting.) [Sahih Bukhari Volume 003, Book
031, Hadith Number 127]
“When any one of you gets up in the
morning in the state of fasting, he
should neither use obscene language
nor do any act of ignorance. And if
anyone slanders him or quarrels with
him, he should say: ‘I am fasting, I
am fasting.’” [Sahih Muslim Book 006,
Hadith Number 2563]
