To bring any meaningful improvement in the fragile condition of India's farming community, a comprehensive rural development effort is needed. Any piecemeal solution like occasional loan waiver shall have almost no sustainable impact. The traditional farmer welfare measures like periodic hikes in support prices for certain crops, farm input subsidies, interest rate subvention have not yielded the desired results.
In my view, a sustainable improvement in Indian farmers' conditions is possible only under a comprehensive rural development mission. The mission should address the problem with structural reforms at three levels, viz., 1. Farm Level; 2. Policy Level and 3. Social Level. All reforms must be pursued "urgently, vigorously, simultaneously" and in a fully integrated fashion, for having a meaningfully sustainable impact.
Post Article 370 scenario:
A worsened security situation in Jammu and Kashmir abetted by Pakistan, exacerbated by the absence of legitimate political channels, a weak economic infrastructure, and an inadequate administrative capacity.
Further, this situation is unlikely to change for the better over the next two years.
To manage this worsened security situation while rebooting economic and political mechanisms, India’s policy approach should be:
1. Security: reduce visibility while increasing security over the near term
2. Economy: build public infrastructure to support private investment
3. Administration and governance: decentralise and devolve
4. Politics: return to political normalcy as the security situation improves
5. Employment and entrepreneurship: remove obstacles to livelihood and entrepreneurship, invest in relationships, build social networks
For each policy approach, the document lists initiatives that the Union government can take up.

Role of Banking Sector in the Socio-Economic Development of Tribal People in ...paperpublications3
Abstract: This research paper have been attempted for the betterment of people of Jharkhand and how they will be been fitted by the role of banks and their schemes. The banks can better understand their clients changing needs and behaviours of their segments which affects the market delivery services to meet their expectations. The bank can respond to the rapid technological advancement that are threatening the relevance of traditional banking delivery channels. The implication are of the changing envioronment from a revenue, cost product offering, and market distribution point of view. The tribal people are economically the poorest people of Indian. Majority of them live beta the poverty line. The tribal economy is based on agriculture of the crudest type. The main economic problems of the tribal. The innocence, illiteracy and helplessness of the tribal are exploited by the outsiders. The British policy in particular, had led to ruthless exploitation of the tribal in various ways as it favoured the zamindars, landlords, money lenders, forest contractors and excise, revenue and police officials. Education is one key to socio-economic development. The more educated a potential workforce is the more attractive it is to potential employers. A more educated workforce can also expect higher pay levels. Which help to stimulate overall economic activity. Besides the direct economic benefits, there are indirect benefits such as in improvement in public health and a better understanding among the public and its leaders of how to effectively and effectively and efficiently utilize resources. Resources are a basic essential for socio-economic development. It a group of people started a country in the middle of a desert, they would find economic development difficult unless they had large amounts of capital or their were value able resources under the sand. In many cases, resources mean natural resources such as water, farmland, oil or valuable minerals. Resources, through, do not have to mean natural product that are harvested and sold. An educated workforce and good infrastructure are both resources. The land itself can be a resource in the case of tourist draws.
Geospatial Analysis of Irrigation Challenges and Opportunities in JharkhandAI Publications
Agriculture has been the principal livelihood alternative of mankind to begin stationary human development and water was of primary significance for field crops after soil. Customary watering of plants gave enlargement of homestead items, which lead to the introduction of the possibility of irrigation. Steadily the procedures of irrigation advanced from customary to present day with proper method of time diffused various pieces of the world. Irrigation is characterized as the counterfeit utilization of water to soil for consistently providing the dampness basic for plant development. It achieved in various ways by flooding, wrinkles, spreading, by applying water underneath the land surfaces by sub-irrigation. Irrigation is firmly identified with various physical and social viewpoints. Indian agriculture history goes back to certain centuries and Chakulia, has been rice bowl for Jharkhand. Ranchi is one of the most famous city and district of Jharkhand. From the goes back, the economy of the district was agrarian and irrigation was the parts and package of the livelihood of the general population. The present research has been completed dependent on issues and prospects of irrigation in the district. The prime goals of the study are I) Finding out the determinants of irrigation, ii) Examining the Spatio-worldly variety of irrigation, iii) Exposing the effect of irrigation on agriculture and economy of the rancher, iv) Identifying the issues identified with irrigation in the district and v) studying the irrigation accessibility both surface and ground water in the district.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
