Arvind Kejriwal is an Indian politician and activist who founded the Aam Aadmi Party. He worked as a IRS officer but resigned in 2006 to fight corruption in India. He was a key figure in the India Against Corruption movement led by Anna Hazare for the passage of the Jan Lokpal Bill. Unable to see changes through that movement, Kejriwal founded the Aam Aadmi Party in 2012 and led it to victory in the 2013 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections. As chief minister of Delhi, he focused on providing basic services to citizens like water, electricity, healthcare, and education.
