Mitä reformi muuttaa ammatillisessa koulutuksessa?Petri Lempinen
Hyvinvointiyhteiskunnan rahoitus voidaan turvata ainoastaan työllisyysasteen nostolla. Lisäksi liitto toivoo sosiaaliturvan uudistamista nykyistä kannustavammaksi.
This document outlines a 6-step process for true north leadership. Step 1 involves communicating a clear vision of the future. Step 2 develops strategies to achieve that vision. Step 3 describes organizational values to guide decision making. Step 4 develops a people strategy, and Step 5 integrates that strategy into the business culture. Step 6 leads the journey to achieving the vision. The document also quotes Bill George saying successful leaders lead with empathy, compassion, courage and establish deep trust through relationships.
This document provides an overview of American men in the early 2010s by examining realities, icons, and memes. It discusses the changing demographics of the US, with declining white population percentages and growing ethnic diversity. Economically, it notes the illusion of widespread prosperity fueled by debt, and outlines the current realities of uneven wealth distribution and declining prospects for many working-class men. It then examines prominent male icons from Hollywood and how they have reflected changing ideals of American manhood over time. Finally, it introduces the concept of "thought viruses" or memes that animate American cultural and political debates.
The document summarizes the Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United v. FEC and its implications for corporate political spending. Some key points:
- The ruling struck down longstanding bans on corporate spending on political campaigns, allowing unlimited spending on electioneering communications.
- It overturned precedents that had upheld restrictions on corporate spending to influence elections directly.
- There is now no limit on independent expenditures by corporations, though coordination with candidates is still banned.
- The decision enables foreign-owned corporations to spend on US elections for the first time.
- Proponents argue it protects free speech rights, while critics warn it will undermine democracy by increasing corporate influence.
The document discusses findings from a survey of 100 American teenage girls aged 13 to 18 about their spending habits, media consumption, and socialization. Some key findings include:
- Teenage girls spend purposefully online, averaging 11 hours per month, searching for specific information rather than browsing randomly. They primarily use social media to stay in constant contact with friends.
- When shopping, teenage girls research sales and wait for preferred brands to go on sale before purchasing. They are loyal to favorite brands and enjoy finding them at discounted prices.
- Teenage girls prefer to actively seek out sales information from brands rather than having brands approach them. They share shopping tips and deals primarily through one-on-one communication like text

American homes are changing dramatically to adapt to societal and economic shifts. Families are increasingly multigenerational, with adult children and elderly parents living together under one roof to weather financial challenges. Homes are also getting smaller but more efficient, with an emphasis on universal design, smart appliances, sustainable features, and multipurpose rooms. Additionally, homes are becoming highly integrated with mobile media and connectivity, allowing occupants to control all aspects of the home from any location.

This document provides information about starting a food truck business, including estimated costs, sales potential, target markets, and factors for success. The total estimated startup costs range from Rs. 7,57,000 to Rs. 14,45,000, which is lower than opening a restaurant. The document estimates sales potential based on serving capacity and pricing, and identifies current and potential customer markets like students, workers, and tourists. Key factors for the business to succeed include generating additional revenue streams, keeping food and labor costs low, operating at high capacity and prices, and locating in areas with low operating fees and costs.
The survey found that in early 2010, one year into Barack Obama's presidency, the mind and mood of Americans was downbeat rather than optimistic. Many Americans appear to have "hunkered down" in response to ongoing economic stresses, becoming less socially and politically engaged. They expressed significant pessimism about financial and economic issues and were uncertain about healthcare reform efforts. While some were actively fighting or protesting issues, others seemed to have adopted a "freeze" response by socially withdrawing and focusing inward on basic necessities.

Forex cards are prepaid debit/credit cards that allow travelers to securely carry currency abroad instead of cash. They can be loaded with any amount of money and used wherever Visa and Mastercard are accepted worldwide. Forex cards protect travelers from currency exchange rate fluctuations by locking in the exchange rate on the date the card is loaded. They provide benefits like online access to card balances, ability to transfer funds to a replacement card if lost or stolen, and ability to reload the card anytime from abroad.
The document summarizes the Bretton Woods system established in 1944. It discusses the goals of creating international monetary cooperation and stable currency exchange rates through the IMF and World Bank. However, within a few years, problems emerged as member nations underestimated the funds needed, draining the IMF. The end of the gold standard in the 1970s severed the final link between currencies and gold, transitioning to a system of flexible exchange rates. The IMF and World Bank continue operating, though they have faced criticism over some policies.
