Visual Statement’s EdgeFX software has many built in functionalities to assist users with both crash and crime scene investigations. This workshop will focus on importing 3D Laser Scan data of an accident scene, including scans of the involved vehicles, into EdgeFX and using several of the built in tools to assist with a reconstruction of the scene. Built in tools such as a Crush Analysis feature, Linear Momentum Tool and Acceleration Data Manager can all assist in determining what may have happened based on the physical evidence captured of the accident scene.
