Keane is an English rock band formed in 1995 in East Sussex, consisting of Tom Chaplin, Tim Rice-Oxley, Richard Hughes, and Jesse Quin. They made their major label debut in 2002 with Hopes and Fears, which topped the UK album charts and earned them two Brit Awards. Their hit single "Somewhere Only We Know" was popular in both the UK and US. While their original guitarist Dominic Scott left in 2001, Keane continues to make music targeted towards 20-30 year old audiences.
