been announced to date. This documentary is not a "let us all hail Pearl Jam as well as their
greatness" biased picture.
Why? Becaues "Pearl Jam Twenty" will help explain to the die hard fans and even the occasional
listeners why this band was important in the history of music. Thankfully it was all explained in a
narrative by the director, a veteran in the music and film business, Cameron Crowe.
Finally, Michael W. Smith recorded "The Wonderful Cross" on his worship CD Worship Again. This
contemporary song incorporates the old hymn "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross" with a modern
chorus written by top-notch songwriter Chris Tomlin: "Oh the wonderful cross, oh the wonderful
cross bids me come and die and find that I shall truly live." "Love so amazing, so divine, demands my
soul, my life, my all." Indeed.

contrary. What can be more ironic that naming a band a perfect circle and then creating an image
with anything but? Their group symbol consists of two crescents of different sizes facing each other
making it a shape that is not a circle. The cleverness of the design sparks interest.
