1. The KC Health CORE is a three year special initiative
funded by the Health Forward Foundation. It consists
of three principal components:
. Design and implementation of IT infrastructure and a central
repository for curated data resources, conforming to standard IRB
protocols, residing at a secure, neutral, independent location.
. Provision of research services and facilitation for the Health Core
research consortium membership, focused on a regional population
health disparities research agenda, framed in the context of the social
determinants of health.
. Substantive community engagement with, constructive input into,
and demonstrative benefit from the CORE IT infrastructure, data
repository, and research agenda.
