Kazerne Dossin is a memorial, museum and expertise center on the Holocaust and human rights located in Mechelen, Belgium. It commemorates the 25,484 Jews and 352 Roma and Sinti deported from Belgium during World War II through the SS transit camp located there from 1942-1944. The center works to educate visitors and different target groups on the mechanisms of violence, radicalization, and polarization through its collection of over 1.6 million digitized documents. It aims to foster reflection on the past, present and future of the Holocaust and human rights through connecting law, memory, and civic responsibility.
