1. INCEPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
Kay International Limited was founded by the present Chairman Cum Managing Director-
Mr. K. L. Arora, who was one of the early forerunners of India’s post independence breed
of entrepreneur professionals.
KAY began its operations in 1966 in a small, rented, tin roofed shed with a work force of
2 employees & the following key objectives that have made KAY the No. 1 selling brand in
the Indian Sub-continent:

• International Market Development
• Profitability Through Efficiency
• Produce Superior Quality
2. OWNERSHIP
I. Mr. K. L. Arora along with his son manages the company. Entire equity of the
company is held by him and his family members.
II. Mr. K. L. Arora is a Mechanical Engineer by profession and having more than 40
years experience in the industry. Mr. K. L. Arora as Chairman
Cum Managing Director looks after the entire activities of the Kay Group. Mr. Arora’s son,
Mr. Kapil Arora has been managing production.
Company has employed experienced personnel in marketing, management and
administration at every level. Currently, company is having 300 employees. On the Job
Training Programmes are organized to enhance the skill of the existing labors and staffs.
Company has been maintaining cordial relationship with the employees which results in
uninterrupted production on time.
3. MAIN PRODUCTS HANDLED
I. Company is making roots variety of compressors in 37 Models. Before Kay International
Ltd, these types of compressors were available through imports only. Over a period of time
Company’s compressors became the benchmark in the industry and recognized as
comparable product with any international brand.
II. Blowers are available from 5m3/hr to 40000m3/hr. These high capacity compressors are
made only by our company. Kay Blowers are available with various options-High and low
RPM blowers. Preference is given to High RPM blowers due to better volumetric efficiency
and saving in energy. In some cases, motor rating is less than others.
The present self owned 15000 square yard factory area is a state-of-the-art
manufacturing facility of Kay International Limited in accordance with international
standards. Located at Sonepat, Haryana, this facility comprises of Imported Machines
that produce:
• Rotary Tri Lobe Compressors(Roots Blowers)
• Rotary Twin Lobe Compressors(Roots Blowers)
• High & Dry Vacuum Pumps(Air Injection Technology) for Trucks
4. REPRESENTATION OF OTHER COMPANIES IF ANY
We are not representing any company.
5. Export
We are exporting our Compressors to Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Iraq,
Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Kenya, Australia etc. Kay International
Limited has a large customer base in India & Overseas markets coupled with an extensive
Sales & Service network. No wonder, we are the NUMERO UNO and leading Compressor
manufacturers in this part of the sub-continent.

We are expecting turnover of approx. 72 crores in Indian Rs.(Sixteen million US$ ) during
current Financial Year 2015- 2016 being 80% market share out of total size of market
which is nearly 90 crores at present. Balance demand is met by 10% imports and 10% by
disorganized industries. Size of the market is increasing @ 20-30% per year with the
development in Industries in different sectors as the Indian Economy is liberalizing rapidly
and has already taken off, Global companies are increasingly flocking to India to represent
their products by appointing agents or by setting up Manufacturing units to reap the
advantages of its low labor costs, highly skilled and technically trained manpower and its
location advantage in the heart of Asia.
In the next two financial years (2016-2017 & 2017 - 2018), we shall be touching the sales
turnover of 19 and 21 million US$ respectively.
8. TIE UP WITH CONSULTANTS
We are registered with the following major consultants and they are
recommending only “KAY” Blowers to almost all type of industries and in our
factory these consultants witness the testing of these compressors regularly.

supplied special blowers for Helium Gas applications to
NPCIL (Nuclear Power Co-operation of India Ltd) which is an import
substitute item. We are the only company in India registered with
NPCIL.
9. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
1. Company has developed three lobe impeller, which provided greater
rigidity in case of bending in comparison to two lobe impeller. The three lobe profile is
cycloid whereas two lobe profile is the combination of inoculate and circular profile.
2. Presently, blowers are developed with five numbers of bearing for more dynamic
stability. It is having pulley and gear mounted in the same side so as to provide
stability in resisting bending of the shaft and less torsion stress will be developed on
the shaft.
3. Production of the company is completely governed by the norms of ISO-9001.
Company has fully developed designing department equipped with Micro station with
CAD package, quality control department, inspection department and testing
department for quality control and development of new products.
10. INFRASTRUCTURE
Kay has manufacturing unit at fully developed industrial town in District
Sonepat,(Haryana) marketing cum Head Office at Delhi and branch offices at Mumbai,
Chennai, Bangalore, Jamshedpur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata & Durg. At each branch we have
provided Service Engineers & Application Engineers to vendor immediate service to our
customer.
11. PLANT AND MACHINERY
Company is equipped with largest and latest imported CNC machines for having high
precision and accurate work.
12. RAW MATERIAL
Company has been using high quality material for production. Raw material is procured
from the established reputed suppliers to maintain the quality. Raw Material is available
indigenously throughout the year.
13. MARKETING AND SELLING ARRANGEMENT
1. Marketing always remained a top priority of the management. Due to superior
product, company has established “KAY” as a brand image and today, company is
having nearly 70% market share. Remaining share is filled with imports and
unorganized sector. There is no other manufacturer in the organized sector, blowers
to produce quality of our level.
2. We have our own Sales & Service offices at Prime location and equipped
with Sales & Service Engineers to provide timely servicing.
ISO-9001: 2000 Certification
Our Quality management system confirms to the quality system ISO-9001:2000. We
are the only manufacture having sales and service offices in major cities in India
including all metropolitans this support is critical because our products are designed
for flexibility and dependability to provide years in cutting edge and technology. A
focus on innovative design & high quality machine parts has earned reputation of
excellent workmanship amongst its users. Our commitment to total quality
management in both our products is the foundation upon which our future business is
based. Every Kay Compressor is tested as per BS 1571, Part-II before shipment.

  • 10. 9. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT 1. Company has developed three lobe impeller, which provided greater rigidity in case of bending in comparison to two lobe impeller. The three lobe profile is cycloid whereas two lobe profile is the combination of inoculate and circular profile. 2. Presently, blowers are developed with five numbers of bearing for more dynamic stability. It is having pulley and gear mounted in the same side so as to provide stability in resisting bending of the shaft and less torsion stress will be developed on the shaft. 3. Production of the company is completely governed by the norms of ISO-9001. Company has fully developed designing department equipped with Micro station with CAD package, quality control department, inspection department and testing department for quality control and development of new products. 10. INFRASTRUCTURE Kay has manufacturing unit at fully developed industrial town in District Sonepat,(Haryana) marketing cum Head Office at Delhi and branch offices at Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Jamshedpur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata & Durg. At each branch we have provided Service Engineers & Application Engineers to vendor immediate service to our customer. 11. PLANT AND MACHINERY Company is equipped with largest and latest imported CNC machines for having high precision and accurate work. 12. RAW MATERIAL Company has been using high quality material for production. Raw material is procured from the established reputed suppliers to maintain the quality. Raw Material is available indigenously throughout the year.
