The student enjoyed their time at AO Elementary School, especially making friends and going on field trips, like to the North Carolina zoo in kindergarten. They learned important lessons, particularly from the D.A.R.E. program about the dangers of drugs and smoking. As advice to upcoming 5th graders, the student says 4th grade was harder and that 5th grade includes a fun trip to Washington. They will miss AO for its teachers, computer lab, library, gym, music class, field trips, and playground.
