PLOT or STORYLINE
 Plot is a narrative (and, traditionally, literary) term
defined as the events that make up a story,
particularly: as they relate to one another in a pattern
or in a sequence; as they relate to each other through
cause and effect; how the reader views the story; or
simply by coincidence.

 A plot is a series of events and character actions that
relate to the main conflict.
 Due to the heavy rain, mayor Erap Estrada decided to
suspend our class. Me and my friend decided to go
home. We are excited to have a good time with our
family.

RISING ACTION
 Rising action is what happens in a story leading
up to the most exciting part of a story.

 Rising action is the event leads up to the climax.
 After fixing ourselves and our things, we are
ready to go home. Even if its raining like cats
and dogs, we didn’t change our mind.

TURNING POINT
 Turning point a time at which a decisive change in a situation
occurs, especially one with beneficial results.

 Turning point a time when the important event in the story
changes.
 After a few minutes, we arrived at Santolan Station. We are
so happy because we are safe. After that, we’ve waited a
vehicle and say goodbye to each other.

CLIMAX
 The climax meaning “staircase” and “ladder” or
turning point of a narrative work is its point of
highest tension or drama or when the action
starts in which the solution is given. Climax is a
literary element.

 Climax is the most exciting part of the story.
 After an hour, finally, I’m home.

FALLING ACTION
 Falling action is defined as the parts of a story
after the climax and before the very end.

 My family was so happy and very glad because
I’ve arrived safely.

RESOLUTION
 Resolution the action of solving a problem,
dispute, or contentious matter.
