India has several border-related conflicts with its neighbours - China and Pakistan. These border conflicts have contributed to the outbreak of war between these countries for some time. While LAC stands for Line of Actual Control, LOC stands for Line of Control. The LOC is a demarcated, military-marked frontier. For instance, the border separating parts of India and Pakistan-controlled Jammu Kashmir is called the LOC, while LAC is a border like Aksai Chin which is not clearly demarcated between India and China.
The document is a 25-page collection of solved past papers from 2005 to 2017 on Pakistan Affairs in the form of multiple choice questions (MCQs) published on the website www.gcaol.com. This document discusses the travel allowance rules for central government employees in India. It states that the university follows the central civil service travel allowance rules. For travel allowance claims, employees can choose to follow either the 5th or 6th Pay Commission recommendations as a complete package for each tour. Under the 6th Pay Commission, daily allowance is no longer given as lump sum but employees will be reimbursed only for actual expenses up to the prescribed limit by submitting receipts. The document also outlines travel entitlements, mileage allowance rates, and daily allowance amounts for employees of different pay grades.
The document outlines various leave policies and principles for government employees. Some key points include:
1. Leave is not automatically granted and can be refused or revoked by sanctioning authorities. Different types of leave due cannot be altered but may be converted under certain conditions.
2. Earned leave should generally not be denied during the last 10 years of service. Maximum of 5 years of extraordinary leave can be sanctioned.
3. Employees must not take up other employment while on leave without permission. Maternity, paternity, child care and other special leaves have specified eligibility rules.
The document discusses the causes of poor and good relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Poor relations stemmed from the 1971 war of independence, civil war, Pakistan initially refusing to recognize Bangladesh, and disagreements over dividing assets. Good relations emerged after the 1976 assassination of Mujeeb, with improving agreements around tourism, culture, and trade such that bilateral trade reached $40 million annually by 1986. Both countries also joined organizations like SAARC and assisted each other during natural disasters.

Pakistan's economy has experienced slowing growth over the long run due to a lack of structural reforms and incentives for sustained investment. While remittances and debt inflows have contributed to meeting external financing needs, they have also contributed to "Dutch disease" effects. Going forward, Pakistan will need to implement structural reforms in key sectors like energy and taxation to improve its fiscal position and reliance on external financing. Engaging the Pakistani diaspora through knowledge transfer and targeted investment in high-multiplier sectors could help counter Dutch disease effects from remittances and promote more sustainable development.

The document analyzes the financial viability of purchasing a $39 million capesize dry bulk carrier that would operate for 25 years. Net present value (NPV) calculations are shown for operating the vessel for both 25 years and 15 years. Operating it for 25 years yields a positive NPV of $368,557. However, operating it for only 15 years pursuant to company policy and then scrapping it yields a negative NPV of -$1,252,916, indicating a loss. Therefore, the recommendation is to reject the proposal due to the company's 15-year vessel operation limit.
The document contains a table of 300 numbers ranging from 1,496 to 1,731. Various statistical measures were calculated for the data including the mean (1,600.83), variance (0.0786), and standard deviation (0.2815). Additionally, the data was grouped into 11 classes to create a frequency distribution and ogive graph.
This document provides a table of critical values for the t-distribution and F-distribution for various degrees of freedom and significance levels. The table lists the critical values for one-tailed and two-tailed tests with significance levels ranging from 0.2% to 20% for distributions with 1 to 100 degrees of freedom.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
