Kangaroos are a type of marsupial found in Australia that gives birth to underdeveloped young that develop further in the mother's pouch. They have large hind legs and feet adapted for hopping at speeds up to 60 km/hr, as well as a long tail. Kangaroos live in groups, eat plants and can go months without drinking water.
