The study investigates the optimal parameters for fabricating aluminum foam from recycled aluminum using calcium carbonate as a foaming agent and alumina as a thickening agent. Key findings indicate that the ideal conditions are a temperature of 800-850°C, a 5% calcium carbonate and 3% alumina ratio, with a stirring time of 45 seconds, resulting in aluminum foam densities between 0.40-0.60 g/cm3. The research highlights that oxides formed in the process help stabilize the foam structure.
