7. Learning Without Tears
This is the curriculum we use to teach our letters and numbers. It teaches
the children how to “build” their letters and numbers using big lines, little
lines, big curves, and little curves. We use actual wood pieces to build each
letter of the alphabet. The pieces are pictured below.
Example of letter
Z
using 1 big line,
and 2 little lines
8. Learning Without Tears
In addition to the wooden pieces, we use other hands-on activities such as
Roll A Doh and Stamp A Letter.
All of these activities
allow the students to
be actively engaged in
the building of each letter
prior to writing it on paper.

9. Bible
We use Purposeful Design for our Bible curriculum. Each week we focus on key
Biblical concepts through age-appropriate and engaging stories, videos, and
activities. We will also learn a memory verse each week. As we move through
these lessons, it is our hope that students begin to grow in their faith and
demonstrate that faith in their behavior so that they may become a light to others.
10. Bible
We start each day with the Pledge of Allegiance, the Pledge to
the Christian Flag, and the Pledge to the Bible.
12. Birthdays
We love to celebrate birthdays in K4! Mrs. Pippins will announce birthdays on the intercom
during morning announcements and we will sing Happy Birthday in our classroom!
13. We would like to thank you for your interest in our program.
We are so excited for what God has in store for us in the
next school year and would love to have you become a part
of our ACA family.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for
the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
