Exceptional children are those who deviate physically, mentally, emotionally, or socially from what is considered normal and require special services. They include physically disabled, mentally disabled, gifted, creative, delinquent, emotionally disturbed, learning disabled, and backward children. they’re unable to adapt to their environment and be

A minor who is deviates seriously from the norms of
his culture or society & commits such acts, that if
committed by an adult would be a punishable crime

Emotional disturbance is a type of psychiatric
disturbance without clearly defined physical cause
or without structural damage.
They can be suffering from any of the following:

6. Behaviour disorders
7. Psychosomatic/psychophysiological disorders
10. LEARNING DISABILITY
Those children who have a disorder in one or more
of the basic psychological processes involved in
understanding & using language.
