Mayer, Creative Director at Scrum Alliance and
Certified Scrum Trainer. The training was run on a
                              interactive basis allowing everyone to
become fully involved with Scrum and Agile principles.
The two day training focused on hands on
introduction to Scrum values, principles and practices.
Tobias made the class interactive by actively engaging
participants. He used the principles and values of Agile
and Scrum in order to provide extensive training. His
hands on approach gave participants an opportunity
to discuss and understand the key topics through
the usage of the task board, visualized maps, and by
discussing agile principles within their small groups.

                                  Each
                                  day
was comprised with eight sprints each
90-100 minutes long, where stories
from the task board were completed
during each sprint. Tobias started with
a backlog for the two days of training.
As each story was picked for sprints
participants learned how to apply Agile
practices first hand. As each story was
                        applied tasks,
each task was visually moved across the board from Task to Do,
Work in Progress, and Done. This is all shown on the Task Board.
As the course progressed Tobias introduced the importance
of prioritizing based on business value to the participants by
involving them in prioritizing and adding new stories to be
covered in the class. Each class picked a vision statement and
from their prioritized their stories and task to be completed first.
Every training is slightly different and unique through
                         its own priorities; however,
                         Tobias makes sure each
participant gains an a in depth
                         understanding of Agile and
                         Scrum principles, through his
                         interactive approach.
                             This June training was a
great success and our next one is
                             planned for August 21-22.

                           Tobias used context maps
and small groups to help each
                          participant gain an in depth
                                 understanding.
