Backpack Buddies - A big THANK YOU to those who contributed
food during this year's Fall Festival and to those who continuously
donate throughout the traditional school year to help some of the
children at Knightdale Elementary School and their respective families
in need. Currently, we are fully stocked in every category! However,
plastic grocery bags are needed at this time. An easy way to donate bags
is to stuff as many as you can inside an empty paper towel tube and then drop the tube(s)
off in one of two food collection bins located on the floor downstairs in the Sanctuary
building across from the Fellowship Hall (kitchen side). Thank you again for supporting
this local ministry.

A card was received from Philip Humphries. He says, âI am so thankful to belong to such a caring and
loving church family. I could feel the power of your many prayers during my recent surgery and
continued recovery. Thank you for the prayers, visits, cards and phone calls as they mean a lot to me and
Margaret. You really demonstrated what a caring church this is by your actions.â
The card is on the bulletin board in the Education Building.
