I grew up in South Florida, so fishing has always been my favorite thing to do, no matter the weather. I have always wanted to be a professional fisherman and have had an interest in why certain fishing lures work in different conditions. My goals for this project are to create my own fishing lure by hand that will work in real fishing conditions. Hopefully, you will agree that I accomplished this. My product is a fishing lure that I have made by hand in my garage. This product relates to my research paper because it is based on the shape and colors that fish like. Some of the obstacles I have faced in this process are difficulty finding materials and how tedious the work is. I ended up having to change the type of bait I would make and had to work harder to complete the project. In the end, I finished the project, and I am proud of the outcome. My research and experience reinforce my desire to be a professional fisherman. I am usually very bored when doing something for school, but this project held my attention and I really enjoyed making this. Everyone always says that the best job for you is the one that you love, so I would love to continue in the direction of fishing after high school. Hopefully I will have the ability to pursue my fishing career during and after college. I am honestly glad that senior project is over but I did enjoy making my product.
