3. Introduction
Juan Maria's week is the week when the school celebrates the aniversary of
the died date of Juan Maria. We meet all the students in the school and make
activities together ; play some differents sports, show our proyects to the other
one... and the most important, enjoy ourselves and have a good time !
4. 2.- WHO WAS JUAN MARIA ?
Juan María de la Mennais was the creator of all the Menesians schools.
He was born in Saint-Maló, on 8 of September of 1780. Juan María
grew up during the French Revolution. His father loved the ships and his
mother died when he was 9 years old. They were 6 brothers.
He took a difficult decision in his life: being a priest. On June of 1819,
were born the Menesians brothers that today manage the Menesians
schools.
Juan María loved being with children, made them jokes and each day
made them a little bit happier.
He died the 26th of December of 1860 and before he died he wrote this:
“ No quiero engañaros, queridos míos. Mis fuerzas van disminuyendo. Después
de Dios y de su Madre, mis pensamientos van para vosotros. Vivid siempre
unidos de corazón y de alma a Dios Solo y a todos vosotros”
5. 3.- RELATIONSHIP WITH THE
SCHOOL
He is the creator of Menesian,s brothers and the
Menesian's brothers have made San José
school.Thanks to him this school is open because
if he didn't study and be a priest this school won't
be what is now or today.

8. 5.- WHY THIS WEEK SHOULD
TAKE PLACE
● This week should take place because is a way to promote
the students to improve their knowledges about the
creator of our school. It's also a way to do sports and
things all together and know each other better.
