JOBSCOUT’S “A CUP OF JOE AND A JOB SEARCH” TOUR
PROVIDES SPANISH SPEAKERS JOB SEEKING RESOURCES
Spanish Speaking Californians Will Have Access
to Free Workshops to Find Employment Opportunities
San Francisco, CA – This summer, JobScout, the web and mobile tool designed to
teach people how to use the Internet effectively to find work, is hitting the road with it’s “A Cup
of Joe and a Job Search” Tour throughout California.
The goal of the tour is to come to the communities of job seekers throughout California.
To reflect the diversity of the state, JobScout will offer workshops in Spanish, guiding learners
through the Spanish language version of the platform.
Spanish-speaking jobseekers can find JobScout’s Director of Spanish Language, Paul
Jackson, at the following locations during June:

• June 3, 3:30 p.m. – Redwood City Public Library, Fair Oaks Branch
• June 4, 9:00 a.m. – Yolo County Library, Main Branch
• June 6, 6:00 p.m. – Mission Economic Development Agency, San Francisco
• June 10, 6:00 p.m. – Monterey County Library, Greenfield Branch
• June 11, 10:00 a.m. – Women’s Building, San Francisco
• June 12, 6:30 p.m. – San Diego County Library, Spring Valley Branch
• June 13, 11:00 a.m. – Imperial County Library, Holtville Branch
• June 15, 1:00 p.m. – Santa Ana Public Library, Main Branch
• June 17, 4:00 p.m. – Los Angeles Public Library, R.L. Stevenson Branch
• June 18, 10:00 a.m. – Los Angeles Public Library, Central Branch
• June 20, 9:30 a.m. – San Bernardino County Library, Main Branch

The JobScout team may launch more “tour” dates during the month of June, so
