Habakkuk didn’t understand what God was doing, and found the answer even more confusing. Jehovah reminds him that the righteous must live by faith. Five lessons are derived from this book: Ask Questions; Honor God; Wait for God; Joy in Jehovah; and Go Up to the High Places.

CONF. SEVEN PARTS OF OUR PERSONAL PRAYER WITH THE ANSWER OF THE CROSSWORD. No...CPV
WE DESCRIBE SEVEN POINT OR PARTS OF OUR PERSONAL PRAYER.TO IMPROBE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE . ALSO WE USE A CROSSWORD. ALSO USE WISE THOUGTS AND VERSE TO MEMORIZE.
There are just some Bible verses, phrases, or subject matters that are more difficult to grasp than others. Understanding what "praying in the spirit" means is one of those such phrases. We open up the Word of God to teach us, contextually, how this phrase is used and how we can practice such today.
Closing Prayer:
Father God, we know that you are all-powerful and have the ability to change our lives. Please change the way we reach out to you in prayer - not just while we are in the bathroom, or while driving to our destinations. We don't want to waste our time on prayers that don't work. Teach us what effective prayer is; teach us how to pray it. Teach us to be still and silent. Remind us of the confidence we have in You, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You will hear us. When we feel desperate, let us trust in You. When we are brokenhearted and betrayed, let us seek you Jesus. Make us be honest with You and surrender all of our anger and disappointment. Comfort us, bind our wounds, fill us with Your mercy and grace and make us always obedient to you. Make our prayer lives perfect. Amen.

Of all the metaphors for believers, the one most often used in the NT is “adelphos” (siblings, brothers and sisters). After Jesus’ ascension the company who gathered in the upper room consisted of both men and women, and Peter calls all of them brethren. In Acts 15, both Jewish believers and Gentile believers are called brethren.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
3. How long shall I
cry for help,
and You will not
hear?
Look among the nations,
and see; wonder and be
astonished. For I am doing
a work in your days that you
would not believe if told.
4. Why do you idly look at
traitors and remain silent
when the wicked
swallows up the man
more righteous than he?

him, but he righteous shall
live by his faith.

keep silence before Him.
8. 1. Habakkuk 2:1 (ESV) I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.
2.
Yet I will quietly wait for the day of trouble
to come upon people who invade us.
9. 1. Habakkuk 2:1 (ESV) I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.
2.
Yet I will rejoice in Jehovah;
I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
God, Jehovah, is my strength;
He makes my feet like the deer’s;
He makes me tread on my high places.
10. 1. Habakkuk 2:1 (ESV) I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.

behalf of Christ,
be reconciled to God.
