Closing Prayer: Father God, we know that you are all-powerful and have the ability to change our lives. Please change the way we reach out to you in prayer - not just while we are in the bathroom, or while driving to our destinations. We don't want to waste our time on prayers that don't work. Teach us what effective prayer is; teach us how to pray it. Teach us to be still and silent. Remind us of the confidence we have in You, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You will hear us. When we feel desperate, let us trust in You. When we are brokenhearted and betrayed, let us seek you Jesus. Make us be honest with You and surrender all of our anger and disappointment. Comfort us, bind our wounds, fill us with Your mercy and grace and make us always obedient to you. Make our prayer lives perfect. Amen.
