This pilot study evaluated the effectiveness of intrauterine platelet-rich plasma (PRP) infusion for treating thin endometrium in frozen embryo transfer cycles. Ten patients with a history of cancelled cycles due to inadequate endometrial growth (<7 mm) received PRP infusions on days 11-12 and 13-14 of their cycle. Endometrial thickness increased to over 7 mm for all patients after the second PRP. Embryo transfer was then performed for all patients, resulting in a chemical pregnancy rate of 50% and clinical pregnancy rate of 40%. The study concluded that PRP appears effective for improving endometrial growth in patients with thin endometrium.
