1. Joshua Dievendorf
My passion for music is only paralleled by my love for my family.
My aspirations of being a musician, educator, and music therapist are
what drives me now.
2. I’ve always enjoyed a multitude of different music but Jazz has
a special place in my heart. This is my band Riptide. I also
throw in a little video of my solo work…
3. The Dievendorfs have be playing music since the 1930’s…
Grampa played swing, Dad played rock, and my brother Matt
and I will carry the torch.
4. My brother and I want to bring
music education to those who
may be unable to afford it.
• “Children who study music tend to have
larger vocabularies and more advanced
reading skills than their peers who do
not participate in music lessons (Arete
Music Academy. "Statistical benefits of
music in education." Arete Music
Academy. Accessed July 17, 2014).”
5. I hope to use music therapy to help
Autistic children.
6. After Delta I will finish with a music degree for U
of M, and a finish with a Masters in music therapy.
Now I present my beautiful family…
7. My family is incredible. They are
supportive and loving, we have a
great time together…
8. As a Chef in Ann Arbor, I had the
opportunity to make incredible food.
Now my family and I cook together!
