8. EVVentus
Electronic Visit Verification
EVVentus is a system that uses Bluetooth low-energy (BLE)
for passive electronic visit verification for in-home health
care. The beginning of this project included lots of
research to determine feasibility of using an iOS app with
BLE Beacons that connected with a cloud based system in
php. Planning and Execution of the project worked
simultaneously as we were using new technology and
conducting user testing. We ran a beta test with a local
healthcare provider and monitored the system daily and
made adjustments as needed.
