your decisions better, and your capacity
to do greater
• No one tells you when you need to
charge the batteries, so it’s up to you
to make it happen

Ask Yourself How You’re Feeling
• Check in with yourself daily, weekly,
and monthly to assess your energy
• Keep it simple with three answers;
Feeling Great, Feeling Tired, and
Feeling Exhausted
• Take time off to recharge before
you’ve reached exhaustion

Keep a Recharge List
• Write down the things you like
to do most to recharge
• Include both simple to do activities
and activities that require
greater investment
• Right size activities to the time you
have and the recharge required

• Encouraging others to do the same
keeps those around you sharp
• Make others aware when they’ve
expressed burn out or you see a
decline in their energy
• Ensure team members are taking
time off for holidays
