Interests and Activities
Videogames - One of the hobbies I have most interest in. I am a moderator on a forum dedicated
to one of my all-time favourite games, Metal Gear Solid. I follow gaming news regularly, and I
make an effort to research games from different genres as I like to spend my time investigating
what has gone into making those games stand out from the others, including performing “stress-
tests” on the gameplay mechanics as a method of quality checking.
Extracurricular Activities - I am a member of the Dundee University Role-Playing Society, where
we play games with paper, pens and die. It is very fun and a good way to relax and has helped
me learn good communication skills as it is mostly oral based. I was “Web Master” on the
committee for the 2013-2014 University semesters. Similarly, I have recently started spending
time with Dundee Universities LIP Theatre Company, where I am learning valuable skills about
interacting with people and building up my confidence.
Reading - This is great for expanding my vocabulary and learning about new concepts or ideas
through different points of view. I regularly read a wide variety of different literature, including
both fiction (currently reading the “Dark Tower” series by Stephen King) and non-fiction (such as
research papers).
