Main Sector/Industry: Production and Manufacturing – Pulp and Paper
Main Purpose:
• To plan the proactive mechanical maintenance and coordinate all the mechanical repairs on site.
Main Activities:
• Perform Maintenance Development
• Develop Work Plans.
• Develop and implement Maintenance Standards.
• Maintenance reporting system developed and maintained.
• Technology developments incorporated.
• Breakdowns, planned, preventative and project activities managed.
• Conduct failure analysis of plant, identify and resolve root causes.
• Responsible for maintenance, shutdown and incidental shutdown planning and
execution.
• Management of Maintenance Contractors within his/her area of responsibility.
• Continuous Improvement of Maintenance Systems.
• Plant Safety Responsibilities (SHEQ).
• Leadership and Training Responsibilities.
• Manage Condition Monitoring, Lubrication Engineering and Projects.
• Control Budget and Orders.
• Manage Services and Civils.
• Management Reporting Responsibilities.

Working Conditions:
• Office, Manufacturing Plant, Heights as needed, Confined spaces as needed.
Minimum Requirements for Application:
• BSc (Eng) or BTech or T4 Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 Years’ experience post qualification, with Supervisory and Maintenance experience.
• At least two years’ experience with SAP Plant Maintenance Module.
• Hands on Maintenance/Services/Projects experience in the manufacturing or industrial
environment.
• Must have thorough knowledge of a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments as
well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Must be fully proficient in SAP CMMS.
• Must be fully proficient in all MS Word applications.
• Working experience in the Pulp&Paper industry, especially with Mechanical Workshop,
Roll Maintenance and Noodle Plants will be highly beneficial.
