The Parts/Service Assistant will assign work, order parts, advise on improvements, assist the Service Manager, sell products/services, and ensure warranty claims are submitted on time. Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills, computer skills, familiarity with farm equipment brands, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably one year of experience in parts and service departments.

Assigns andprovides workdirection to employees in the Service Department, advises and
recommends changesand improvements regarding ServiceDepartment processesto the Service

proper inventory locations.
9. Maintain housekeeping throughout department and faculties.
10. Perform any and all other requests deemed necessarythat will promote and grow the
business for the firm.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Abilityto speakeffectivelyone-on-one and beforegroupsofcustomers or employees of the organization.
• Abilityto use standarddesktop load applicationssuch as Microsoft Office and Internetfunctions.
• Familiar with John Deere and Competitive products.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previoussupervisoryor managementexperiencepreferredbut not required.
• At leastone year of experience in Parts Department and ServiceDepartment operations preferred.
• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
