To whom it may concern,
It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Joanna Sloan. We worked together at
Jackson Purchase Medical Associates from 2/8/2013 through the end of that year. She did
“float” through the office working with several of the doctors at the office, and was well liked.
We worked together frequently and well. I left the group to become a Hospitalist at Lourdes
12/31/2013 and continue in that capacity.
I am an Internist and Jo worked with me in the office based portion of my practice. She was my
“task nurse” helping with phone calls, preparing patients for the visit, following up on
questions, and helping care for the many complex and important details that we faced daily in
that process. This would range from notes for work to essentially anything a patient would
need addressed.
Jo was always helpful, positive, friendly, efficient, and reliable. I was comfortable that she
would do what was needed. She was a team player, understood the dynamics and importance
of working together towards a common goal as a team member. I set high standards and she
met them consistently. If I were in the position to hire her, I certainly would.
I would be pleased to provide additional information as you might find helpful. I have practiced
medicine since 1986 and have worked with many people in many capacities. I would enjoy
working with Jo again.
