Jim Corbett was a renowned hunter and conservationist born in 1875 in India. He developed excellent hunting skills from a young age by frequently exploring nearby forests. Corbett hunted man-eating tigers and leopards from 1911 to 1938, killing over 30 in total to protect local communities. After retiring, he wrote books about his experiences and became a pioneer in wildlife conservation by raising awareness about protecting forests and animals. Corbett settled in Kenya after Indian independence and continued his conservation efforts until his death in 1955.
