The news of the rebellion at Animal Farm spreads to other farms through pigeons, causing fear in neighboring farmers Mr. Pilkington and Mr. Frederick. Despite normally being enemies, Mr. Pilkington and Mr. Frederick work together to spread rumors about the rebellion. When the farmers attack Animal Farm, Snowball devises a battle plan that leads to a quick victory. Snowball and Boxer receive medals for their bravery in defending the farm.
