ENTOMOLOGIST
DUTIES:
 Supervise the service technicians during pest control treatments.
 Conduct trainings/seminars for the service technicians, to improve their knowledge on
pest management.
 Ensure that environmental, health and safety standards are met during pest control
treatments.
 Identify insect pests and vertebrate pest’s species.
 Recommend appropriate pest control treatments.

QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

6. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the consolidation analysis of all data collected
for Raw Materials and Finished Feeds to ensure consistency of quality and performance of the
VC products.
DUTIES:
 Receives and collects daily RM and FF laboratory/ chemical analysis.
 Relays results of RM and FF to QA Sup. For disposition.
 Coordinates with Nutrition Department for the results beyond standard for disposition.
 Prepare advise slip.
 Receives and files document on RM and FF samples for analysis from QA support
service messenger.
 Monitors the status of submitted RM and FF analysis to Precisione.
 Receives and analyzes results of physical quality test of finished products.
 Analyzes and interprets data of all RM and FF chemical analysis.
 Prepares materials of QA data analysis and highlight activities for Support Group

to ensure that the proper inventory is in all warehouse locations.

 Use sales forecasting to determine inventory requirements
 Communicate with purchasing and customer service departments
XVI. THESIS
Thesis Title:
Pathogenicity of BeauveriaBassiana on the Different Stored Products Insect Pests.
This study was conducted to evaluate the pathogenicity of Beauveriabassiana (Balsamo)
Vuillemin against Rhyzoperthadominica, Triboliumcastaneum,Oryzaephilussurinamensis,
SitophiluszeamaisandLasiodermaserricorne through adult mortality test. The insects were treated
separately with distilled water, Tween80, Pirimiphos-methyl and B. bassiana + Tween-80
through dipping method.
Results showed that distilled water and tween-80 have no effect on the test insects from
day 1 to day 10 after treatment application. On the other hand, S. zeamais, O. surinamensis and
L. serricorne treated with Pirimiphosmethyl recorded to have 100% mortality followed by R.
dominica and T. castaneumwith 75% and 72.5% mortality respectively. In treatment application
of B. bassiana + Tween-80, the insect that shows the highest percentage of mortality is R.
dominica (77%) followed closely by O. surinamensis, (75%) and T. castaneum, (60.5%). L.
serricorne and S. zeamais recorded to have a cumulative mortality of 51% and 39%,
respectively.

The Efficacy of using Plant Extracts Against Mound-Building Termite [Macrotermesgilvus
Hagen (Isoptera: Termitidae)]
This study was conducted with the following objectives:
 To evaluate the efficacy of some plant extracts against the mound-building termites,
Macrotermesgilvus, under laboratory condition; and,
 To identify alternative control measure against mound-building termites other than
the use of chemical.
