This sermon continues the Come and See series through the Narrative Lectionary selections of the Gospel of John. Jesus' angry cleansing of the Temple in Jerusalem stands in stark contrast to his sign of abundance and grace at the wedding party in Cana of Galilee. Both stories illustrate where God abides; not in temples of stone, but in the hearts and lives of all kinds of people.

God gave us His Word for a purpose. God wants us to be with Him in heaven. To do this we must change from serving Satan to serving God. God gave His Word so we would know how to live our lives. God gave His Word so we would change.
John's gospel was written around 90AD. He assumes his readers know the basic facts of Jesus life. His purpose is to highlight that Jesus was and is the Son of God and that belief in Him will give eternal life.

Not just anyone qualifies to judge the world. For one, you have to be Creator. Secondly, you need to have given the world the chance to be saved. Jesus did both, so he will be worthy to break the seals on the scroll to unleash God's judgment. Listen to the audio of this message at http://cicfamily.com/sermon-listing/?tag=Revelation+of+John.

Book of Daniel, Gospels, Epistle to Thessalonian church and the Book of Revelation give details of an unholy alliance of wicked forces in spiritual realm and on earth. There have been 7 empires described in the Bible impacting God's people in one way or another. Behind each of these 7 empires were evil spirits of power controlling them for specific purpose. These spirits are at work even today working against God and His people, to bring in the unholy trinity of Satan, Antichrist and False Prophet into ultimate dominion on earth, very soon. Mysteriously United Nations, European Union, Statesmen of repute in world governments, financial institutions etc are controlled by highly secretive Illuminati and its tentacles like Freemasons, Club of Rome, New Age and so on. These are highly secretive in their strategy and manoeuvres but God's people can discern and identify them and keep themselves at a safe distance. This presentation helps identify these evil forces and their strategies. May this be an eye opener for the Church in spiritual warfare! In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
