- Perform microbiological testing of finished, raw materials, food additives, CIP chemical analysis
and packaging materials and manage quality.
- To review all standard specifications and test procedures of incoming raw, intermediate as well as
finished products.
- Ensure high level of hygiene & sanitation as per food safety requirements.
- To evaluate and identify the CCP in the manufacturing process and specify the sampling frequency
and procedure for those points.
- Supports and/or leads activities including the maintenance and calibration of Microbiological
instruments.
- Preparation and stocking of microbiological media, reagents and other consumables required to
perform laboratory duties/testing.
- Investigate non-conforming material and products for cause and ensure corrective action.
- Ensure compliance of GMP and HACCP requirements.
- Assess Sterilization and shelf stability of food by conducting thermal process validation studies.
2. - Authorize to take appropriate actions on routine quality issues in the plant mostly in consultation
with Quality Control Supervisor / Quality Assurance Manager.
- Regular co-ordination for corrective, preventive actions for quality improvement /compliance with
Quality head/Production Head/Maintenance Head.
- Monitoring the Pest control activities and Fumigation Management.
- Spot audit, CCP monitoring, personal hygiene monitoring and providing training to the employees.
- Complete accurate online entries to maintain the necessary records for system integrity, for
traceability, food safety standards and quality parameters.
- Enter test results into computerized databases and/or forms.
