Jennifer Lopez is an American actress, singer, dancer, record producer, fashion designer and television producer of Puerto Rican descent. She was born in 1969 in the Bronx, New York to Puerto Rican parents. Some of her most well known songs include "Put Your Flags Up" with Pitbull and "Papi". Throughout her career she has starred in numerous films from the 1990s onward and released several successful studio albums. She is considered a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
