On Christmas Eve in Valladolid, Spain, Javier's whole family dines and parties together. The next morning they go to Mass for Christmas and then eat with family. On New Year's Eve, the family takes dinner and drinks until midnight when they eat grapes to celebrate the new year, followed by a big party. The next day they go to church and have more family meals. On January 6th, they celebrate Epiphany by receiving gifts from the Three Wise Men and sharing paella with friends and family, concluding the Christmas season.

2. MY CHRISTMAS IN VALLADOLID
(SPAIN)
• Everything starts on December 25, the day of Christmas Eve, the
whole family is together, dining and drinking together, after that a
small family party.
• The next morning we go to Mass to pray the birth of the Son of
God, then you go to eat with family.
• The second important day of Christmas is December 31, that day
the whole family goes. We take dinner and drink during the night
until twelve o'clock, at that time the grapes are eaten and the
coming of the new year is celebrated. After that a big party is taken
place.
• The next morning you go to the church and back to family meals.
• January 6 is the last day of Christmas time, the Magi (the three
kings) come to bring you what you ask for (what you wanted to
have) then we have a typical spanish dish, “paella”, made by a
group of friends or family.
