CHRISTMAS IN SPAIN
• In Spain we usually go with our family
on Christmas. It´s a time of happiness
and celebration. We give a gift to our
friends or our family in some special
days .The most important days of
Christmas are the 24th , 25th , 31st
December and the 6th January .
The 24th December
• The 24th December it´s “Nochebuena”
and we always have dinner with our
family and it´s a great dinner with a lot
of food and then we usually eat some
sweets.The Nochebuena´s night
children receive some gifts of Papa
Noel and they feel very happy. The 25th
December it´s Christmas day and we
also have a great lunch with too much
food and some sweets after that lunch.
The 31st December
• The 31st December it’s “Nochevieja”
and we celebrate the last day and
night of the year.
“Los Reyes Magos”
• The night of the 6th of January “Los Reyes
Magos” come to our homes and they also
give some present for us .On 6th January
it´s very typical eat “el roscón de Reyes”
and inside of this dessert there is a bean
and a little figure. If we find the bean, we
have to pay the “roscón “ the next year
and if we find the figure we receive a
crown.
CONCLUSION
• These are the most typical traditions
on Spanish Christmas Holidays.
