The January 2012 monthly report from the Boiling Springs High School library media center can be summarized as follows: 1) The library hosted booktalks and orientations for new English classes, saw high book checkout numbers, and had its top circulating books be popular series titles. 2) The Bullldog Booklovers Club met to discuss two novels and there was enthusiasm about an upcoming field trip for The Hunger Games. 3) Most class visits were from English and CATE teachers encouraging pleasure reading, and circulation numbers remained highest for fiction books while computer equipment and online resources also saw steady usage.

Highlights
Busy with Booktalks and Checkouts!
English II Orientation Many BSHS teachers encourage their students to read for
The start of a new semester brings with it new classes. This pleasure. During our first four days this semester,
